The disclosure relates to a handrail disinfecting device for a handrail of a passenger transport installation. The handrail disinfecting device has a plurality of light-emitting diodes that can emit germicidal electromagnetic radiation in the region of their light cone. A pass-through segment of the handrail disinfecting device is divided into at least two sectors and has a carrier having planes that are arranged in the sectors. The light-emitting diodes are arranged on the carrier such that they are oriented according to the planes. In one of the sectors, there are two planes that are arranged in parallel with the longitudinal extension of the pass-through segment and so as to be mutually inclined at an angle of 100° to 160°.

Handrail disinfecting device for passenger transport installations

The disclosure relates to monitoring a state of a physical passenger transport system. In an aspect, monitoring includes use of an updated digital double dataset that reproduces characterizing properties of components of the physical passenger transport system in an actual configuration of the passenger transport system after assembly and installation thereof in a building, in a machine-processable manner. At least one detection device is arranged in the physical passenger transport system, which detects a load profile which is transmitted to the updated digital double dataset. A set of rules is used to convert the load profile into modified characterizing properties of virtual components. Through the monitoring, changes and change trends on the components are tracked and evaluated using the updated digital double dataset by calculations and/or by static and dynamic simulations.

A framework section having a connection region which is formed on the end face of at least one of its two ends. The connection region can be connected to the connection region of a further framework section. The framework section can include two upper chord sections and two lower chord sections, which extend parallel to one another in the longitudinal direction of the framework section and are connected to one another by connecting struts such that they define a cuboid space. The upper chord sections and the lower chord sections can have a tubular cross section, wherein the upper chord sections and the lower chord sections can also be configured to transition from the tubular cross section into an I-shaped cross section in the connection region.

A method and a device are described for measuring structural components of a bearing structure of an escalator or moving walkway without specialized personnel having to carry out precise measurements in situ. The method comprises fixing an image recording device on a conveying means of the escalator, removing at least one of the tread units of the escalator in order to enable visual access to structural components beneath it; moving the conveying means together with the image recording device at least over partial areas of a travel path, recording images of the structural components to be measured with the image recording device, and generating a 3D model of at least a partial area of the structural components of the bearing structure based on the recorded images. Using the 3D model experts can then measure dimensions and spatial arrangements of structural components without having to be in person at the actual location.

Method and device for generating a 3D model of a bearing structure of an escalator or a moving walkway

The application relates to a device and to an assembly line for producing a supporting structure for a passenger transport system, such as an escalator, which have a sequential arrangement of semi- or fully automatically operating and mutually cooperating assembly stations and a sequential order of assembly steps. Each of the assembly stations can include at least one holding device and at least a welding robot as well as, optionally, at least one handling robot. The assembly stations are configured in such a way that intermediate products can be produced efficiently by respective assembly steps. Each can be coordinated with a subsequent assembly station, so that the intermediate products can be passed sequentially with optimized short cycle times from assembly station to assembly station, to be able to provide a finished, load-bearing supporting structure at the end of the sequence.

Device for the robot-assisted manufacturing of a supporting structure for a passenger transport system

What is described is a method for producing a framework-like supporting structure for a passenger transport system, such as a moving staircase, in which an entire production sequence is divided into at least three separate joining steps which can be performed by coordinated semi- or fully automated joining stations that cooperate with each other. Each of the joining stations comprises at least one retention device and at least one welding robot, as well as optionally at least one handling robot. The joining steps to be performed in the individual joining stations are configured so that interim products can be produced efficiently and harmonized with a subsequent joining step in a subsequent joining station. Interim products can be forwarded sequentially and at optimized, short intervals from joining station to joining station, to be able to provide a finished, load-bearing supporting structure at the end of the sequence.

Method for a robot-assisted assembly of a supporting structure for a passenger transport system

The application relates to a method for modernizing an existing escalator or an existing moving walkway. The method can include removing all the electrical and mechanical parts from the existing framework of the existing escalator or of the existing moving walkway, the existing framework having two framework side parts and a base structure connecting said framework side parts, and the framework side parts being connected to each other by means of cross members disposed at a distance from the base structure; and replacing the existing cross members of the existing framework with new cross members, the two framework side parts of the existing framework being connected to each other in a mutually stabilising manner at least one point at a distance from the base structure of the framework, during replacement of the cross members.

Method for modernizing an escalator or a moving walkway

A method of producing a load-bearing steel construction connection, wherein a clinch connection () connecting a first metal workpiece () with a second metal workpiece () is formed by local deformation by means of a die tool () and a counter-tool (). In that case initially the first metal workpiece () and the second metal workpiece () are placed one on the other on a processing surface of the counter-tool and aligned. The die of the die tool is then advanced and sunk into the two metal workpieces () placed one on the other until the clinch connection () has been formed by plastic deformation. The first metal workpiece () has a first workpiece thickness (t) and the second metal workpiece () has a second workpiece thickness (t), which together give a total workpiece thickness (tt) which is thicker than 8 millimeters. The die is designed to be rotationally symmetrical with respect to its rotational axis () and has a conically shaped transition region () narrowing at an angle (W, W, W) in the direction of sinking-in of the die.
