Systems and methods are provided for monitoring health. An exemplary method includes: collecting a first data regarding a patient during an in-office visit; providing a remote monitoring service for remotely monitoring the patient's health; remotely collecting, using the remote monitoring service, a second data of the patient; providing a probabilistic network for assigning metric-based information to the plurality of data using a plurality of conditional probabilities; processing, using the probabilistic network, the first data and the second data using the probabilistic network; generating, using the processed plurality of data, one or more machine learning models for producing a knowledge base trained to recognize pattern types in the data; generating, using the knowledge base, one or more artificial intelligent features for recommending treatment options based on the data regarding the patient; and providing, using the one or more artificial intelligent features, one or more treatment recommendations for improving the patient's health.

Digital therapeutic platform

A probe is described for analyzing a target using an array of transceivers formed of transmitter/receiver pairs. As opposed to the prior art, the high voltage trigger signals from used to trigger the transmitters are separated from the output signals of the receivers thereby resulting in a simpler and more efficient circuitry. Moreover, the output signals are delayed to compensate for the delays in the echo signals from the target due to the varying distance between the different transceivers and the target. The probe can be used for analyzing pathological organs, as well as many other objects such as gas pipes, airplane wings, etc.

System and method for phased array material imaging

An imaging apparatus includes a transducer, a detecting device and a processor. The transducer includes an emitter and receiver configured to detect a property of an object being scanned at a scanning location. The detecting device is configured to detect a position of the transducer relative to the object being scanned. The processor is configured to obtain, from the transducer, scan information representative of the property when the transducer is positioned at a first position; obtain, form the detecting device, position information representative of the position of the transducer relative to the object being scanned when the transducer is disposed in the first position; determine a coordinate location from the position information; associate the coordinate location with the scan information; and cause the coordinate location associated with the scan information to be stored in a storage.

Position correlated ultrasonic imaging

An ultrasonic probe is composed of a beam having a fixed end and a free end, with an ultrasonic transceiver mounted on the free end. A driving mechanism is used to move said ultrasonic transceiver to one or more predetermined positions by applying an electromagnetic force on the beam.

An apparatus provides mechanical energy to vibrate a tip. The tip preferably formed of multiple prongs positioned approximately circumferentially (either symmetrically or asymmetrically) around an orifice of a needle. The tip is designed to emulsify a cataractous lens and to collect the resulting detritus through an aspiration aperture. An irrigating sleeve whose apertures/ports are protected from relative occlusion by untoward excursions of the phaco needle by a system of elevated stabilizing devices rising from within the inner wall of the sleeve (or from the outer wall of the phaco needle); this results in a plume or river of irrigating fluid exiting the sleeve that mitigates untoward dispersion of infusion fluid and material caught in its path including lens detritus, iris and other anatomical structures. This also provides for a more efficient process at the needle tip and therefore enhances aspirations of lens detritus in a more efficient and salutary manner as it flows to the aspiration aperture, said plume extend around the prongs. The prongs can be driven at either subsonic frequencies or ultrasonic frequencies. A stabilizer is provided to prevent the needle from interfering with the flow of the irrigating fluid during operation.

Apparatus and method for performing phacoemulsification

A mechanical scanning device is composed of an oscillating beam onto which a transducer is mounted, part of which is flexible such that the beam will oscillate at a frequency between 8 and 15 Hz when mechanically energized. To sustain oscillations, energy is supplied by means of two electromagnetic coils acting on two permanent magnets mounted on either side of the beam. In order to improve the linear performance of the probe, feedback control was employed. A position sensor along with supporting electronics was designed to provide control signal for the feedback system.

An apparatus provides mechanical energy to vibrate a needle. An irrigating sleeve is disposed around the needle and includes one or more irrigation ports through which irrigation liquid is ejected during emulsification. To prevent the needle from occluding the irrigation ports with its deflections, one or more bumpers are provided between the sleeve and the needle.
