An auto-sensing, automatic adjusting exhaust baffle; for reducing noise emissions produced by internal combustion engines, while improving overall engine performance, i.e., torque and horsepower. The design uses a spherical shape to evacuate spent exhaust gas, thus scavenging the surrounding exhaust gases to adjust the backpressure, while reducing the noise exiting the exhaust pipe at lower rpm's. The device uses a sphere with an internal bearing; sliding linearly on a shaft and said sphere and bearing being acted upon by exhaust gasses and a compression spring mounted axially over the diameter of the shaft. The purpose of this device is to reduce noise while improving tuning of the air/fuel intake system, by adjusting backpressure of the exhaust system. The lesser amount of exhaust pressure, the less the sphere moves, as in idle to just off of idle, this results in a quiet operational mode of the invention. As more exhaust pressure is presented, as in higher throttle positions, the more the sphere moves away from the discharge ports, the louder the sound will be from the exit end of the exhaust pipe, this results in the active mode of the invention, obtaining the desired sound and adjusted backpressure throughout the power band.

Auto-sensing, automatic adjusting exhaust baffle

A flotation device for floating a watercraft is provided. The flotation device comprises a cover releasably secured to the watercraft. A first collapsible tubing is positioned between the cover and the watercraft for removing at least a portion of the cover. At least one inflatable flotation bladder is positioned between the cover and the watercraft wherein upon inflation of the first collapsible tubing, the first collapsible tubing releases at least a portion of the cover from the watercraft.

Inflating watercraft flotation device

A flotation device for maintaining a watercraft in a floating condition is provided. The flotation device comprises a mounting plate mounted to the watercraft with the mounting plate having a first cover channel, a second cover channel, a first bladder-retaining slot, and a second bladder-retaining slot. A first collapsible tubing is receivable within the first cover channel. An elongated cover is receivable in the cover channels with the first collapsible tubing positioned between the mounting plate and the first edge. A space is defined between the mounting plate and the cover with a directional bladder and a flotation bladder receivable within the space. At least a portion of the directional bladder is receivable within the first bladder-retaining slot and at least a portion of the flotation bladder is receivable within the second bladder-retaining slot. An inflation mechanism inflates the first collapsible tubing and the directional bladder and flotation bladder such that upon inflation of the first collapsible tubing and the directional bladder, the first edge of the cover is released from the first cover channel allowing the directional bladder and the flotation bladder to substantially inflate.

A flotation device for maintaining a watercraft in a floating condition is provided. The flotation device comprises an elongated housing mounted to the watercraft. A carrier is slidably received within the housing with the carrier having a first and second cover channel and a bladder retaining slot. A first collapsible tubing is receivable within the first cover channel. An elongated cover is releasably secured within the first cover channel and the second cover channel. A space is defined between the carrier and the cover. A flotation bladder is receivable within the space with the flotation bladder having a bladder edge receivable in the bladder retaining slot. An inflation mechanism is connected to the first collapsible tubing and the flotation bladder for inflating the first collapsible tubing and for inflating the flotation bladder wherein upon inflation of the first collapsible tubing, the cover is released from the first cover channel of the carrier and the flotation bladder moves the first edge of the cover in a direction generally away from the watercraft allowing the flotation bladder to substantially completely inflate.
