A server capable of rotating and accessing storage devices accommodated therein includes a server chassis, a motherboard, a power supply module, two racks, and a system cooling module. The server chassis includes two side plates and an accommodating space between the two side plates. The power supply module is disposed in the accommodating space and arranged corresponding to the motherboard. The racks are arranged parallel to each other and detachably connected to the server chassis. A pivot structure and a handle for operating the rack are disposed at the rack near the motherboard. The rack is rotatable with respect to the server chassis by means of the pivot structure. The system cooling module is disposed adjacent to the rack. At least one cord passage is provided between the system cooling module and each of the side plates.

Server capable of accessing and rotating storage devices accommodated therein

A locking mechanism and server having the same are provided. The locking structure is assembled to a rack having a positioning hole. The server including a slide rail assembly, a chassis and a locking structure. The slide rail assembly includes an outer slide rail and an inner slide rail. The chassis is fixed to one side of the inner slide rail and movable with the inner slide rail. The locking structure is fastened to the positioning hole and fixed to the inner slide rail. The locking structure includes a housing, a handle, a hook element, and a resilient element. When the handle is rotated to drive the hook element to be detached from the positioning hole, the chassis is released and movable with respect to the rack. The locking structure has a simple structural design, so costs can be reduced.

Locking mechanism and server having the same

An expansion card holder for fixing an expansion card on a circuit board is provided. A connector is arranged on the circuit board and an end of the expansion card is coupled with the connector. The expansion card holder includes a carrier plate, a positioning buckle and a pressing block. The carrier plate is fixed on the circuit board, and multiple position holes arranged in a row are defined on the carrier plate. The positioning buckle is inserted in one of the position holes and engaged with the circuit board. The pressing block is inserted in another one of the position holes and engaged with the expansion card. The expansion card holder is thereby compatible with various sizes of expansion cards.

Expansion card holder

A cabinet holding structure, the slide rails are disposed on the frames and have troughs. Supporting components are assembled on ends of the slide rails. Each supporting component includes a positioning plate, a screw nut, a supporting plate, a stud and a screw bolt. The positioning plate has a through hole and is placed on the slide rail, and the supporting plate is plated on another side of the slide rail. The stud protrudes through the trough. The screw bolt passes through the trough and the through hole to be fixed by the screw nut. The chassis includes a shell and notches. The shell is positioned on the slide rails by buckling the notches and the stud together.

Cabinet holding structures for server

A server device includes a chassis, a rail assembly, and a server. The rail assembly is fixed inside the chassis. The rail assembly includes a lateral board and a flange. The lateral board is arranged vertically, the flange protrudes from one side of the lateral board, the flange is arranged horizontally and extends horizontally in a long strip shape, a positioning flexible arm is disposed on the lateral board, and the positioning flexible arm and the flange protrude from the same side of the lateral board. The server is loaded on the flange and movable along the flange, the server includes a front portion and a rear portion opposite to the front portion. When the server is entirely received in the chassis, the front portion is fixed to one end of the rail assembly, and the positioning flexible arm is engaged with an outer surface of the rear portion.

Server device

A removable hard drive tray includes a seat, a coupling plate and a coupling arm. The seat includes a bottom plate, a first side plate and a second side plate. The first side plate has a through hole. The coupling plate is disposed in an outer side of the first side plate and has a hollow slot. The coupling arm has a pivot end and a free end. The pivot end is pivoted in the hollow slot, and the free end has a latch. The free end rotates to the hollow slot and passes the through hole. Thus the hard drive is combined in the accommodating space by an engagement of the latch and the fastening hole.

Slim type of screwless removable hard drive tray

A storage device tray has a form factor designed to support a larger storage device, and is configured to secure a small storage device, thereby acting as an adapter between storage device sizes. The storage device tray includes a sliding mechanism configured with pegs that may couple to screw holes in the storage device. The sliding mechanism also exerts a force against the storage device to secure that storage device, and may be locked to further secure that storage device. At least one advantage of this approach is that a storage device can be coupled to a storage device tray without using screws.

A carrying apparatus for clamping the side edges of a memory storage unit includes a base part, a fixed arm, and a holding arm. The base part is disposed corresponding to a first side edge of the memory storage unit and has a fixed end and a pivot end. The fixed arm extends from the fixed end of the base part. The holding arm is pivoted on the pivot end of the base part and spaced with the fixed arm. The base part has a working space in which an elastic element is disposed. The holding arm has a stop end extending into the working space. Thus, the elastic element exerts a force on the stop end such that the holding arm moves toward and clamps the third side edge of the memory storage unit.

Carrying apparatus used for memory storage unit

A storage device holding mechanism is provided, including a holding frame and a detaching mechanism. The holding frame holds a storage device; the holding frame includes a bottom plate and includes a first side plate and a second side plate connected to the bottom plate. The detaching mechanism is assembled to one side of the first side plate and includes a push rod and a latch structure for fastening the push rod. The push rod is slidable to be fastened to the latch structure in a fastened position or to be separated from the latch structure in a detached position. When the push rod is in the fastened position, one end of the push rod is flush with one side of the holding frame. When the push rod is released from the latch structure, the push rod slides to the detached position.

Disk drive holding mechanism and server using the same

A circuit layout includes two or more high performance processing nodes that are cooled by a cooling fan. The cooling fan resides in a cooling fan assembly that relies on principles of aerodynamics to maximize airflow. The cooling fan assembly is coupled to the opposite side of a backplane to which the circuit layout is mounted. The backplane includes large ventilation holes to permit the cooling fan to induce significantly more airflow across the circuit layout than possible with conventional designs. At least one advantage of the approaches discussed herein is circuit layouts can be constructed to meet the competing objectives of high node performance and high node density. Accordingly, data centers can be built that offer high performance computing without requiring a significant increase in physical real estate.

Cooling system and circuit layout with multiple nodes

A server chassis includes a tray, two inner rails and two outer rails. The tray includes a bottom plate. Two opposite side walls extend from an edge of the bottom plate. A sliding latch is disposed at an outer side of each of the side walls. Each of the two inner walls is disposed at the outer side of the corresponding one of the two side walls. Each of the inner rails is disposed with a through slot corresponding to the sliding latch. The through slot extends longitudinally along the inner rail. The sliding latch is inserted in the through slot to be movable along the through slot. The two outer rails receive the two inner rails respectively, and each of the inner rails is movable outwardly from one end of the corresponding outer rail.

Server chassis

Server equipment having a fool-proof structure includes a casing and a tray. The casing includes a storage unit area, a plurality of motherboard areas, a back plate, insertion slots and a fool-proof device. The fool-proof device selectively has an engagement member at a first height or an engagement member at a second height. The tray includes a motherboard, a connection card and a protection housing. When the protection housing is in contact with the engagement member at the first height, the connection card is correspondingly inserted into the insertion slot. When the protection housing is in contact with the engagement member at the second height, the connection card is spaced from the insertion slot by a distance. Accordingly, the connection card is prevented from being inserted to a wrong insertion slot, so damage to the connection card is avoided.

Server equipment having fool-proof structure

A screw-free removable hard disk case includes a carrier, a slide rail and a slide sheet. The carrier includes a first lateral plate and a second lateral plate which define an accommodation space, the first lateral plate is formed with an elastic arm disposed with an insertion pin; the slide rail is disposed at an outer side of the first lateral plate, and formed with a slide groove corresponding to the elastic arm; the slide sheet is combined between the slide rail and the first lateral plate with a sliding means and exposed in the slide groove, the insertion pin is pressed by the slide sheet for being inserted in a lock hole correspondingly formed on a hard disk, so that the hard disk can be combined in the accommodation space through the insertion pin and the lock hole being mutually buckled.

Screw-free removable hard disk case

A server having a light-emitting cover includes a frame, a cover assembly and at least one pogo pin connector. The frame includes an opening and at least one recess adjacent to the opening. The recess includes an electrical contact inside. The cover assembly includes a cover plate and a light emitting module fixed to the cover plate. The cover plate covers the opening. The pogo pin connector is installed on the cover plate and is electrically connected to the light-emitting module. The pogo pin connector is detachably engaged in the recess and is in contact with the electrical contact. Accordingly, the cover assembly provides a light indication, provides an attractive appearance, and can be detached or assembled easily.
