A hydraulic circuit for a motor vehicle supports operation of a power steering gear and a power assisted park brake unit incorporating a spring actuated hydraulic release (SAHR) chamber. The hydraulic circuit includes a pump with the power steering gear being connected to receive hydraulic fluid under pressure from the pump. Hydraulic fluid from the pump is delivered to first and second valves, the first or release control valve being connected to the SAHR chamber and the second or recirculation valve being coupled to return hydraulic fluid to a pump inlet.

Hydraulic powered park brake system

The invention provides a bushing for insertion into a cylindrical aperture defined by a mounting bracket. The bushing further provides for retention of a cylindrical sensor housing which is enveloped around its circumference by the bushing and positioned adjacent a rotating flux focusing element. The bushing is formed from a sheet of spring metal and shaped into a cylinder. A pair of outwardly projecting retaining brackets extend from a first end of the sheet and are positioned at one end of the cylinder. In addition, a pair of outwardly projecting dimples are formed in the sheet near the edge of the sheet opposite the first edge, the dimples being sized to allow insertion of the bushing into a cylindrical aperture but function to resist extraction for the bushing after passing completely through the cylindrical aperture.

High retention force anti-lock brake sensor clip

An ABS sensor bracket made up of two mounting wing plates engaged to a sensor receiver. The sensor receiver is generally cylindrical and is mounted between the wing plates such that the sensor receiver is asymmetric axially relative to the caliper anchor plate. When viewed from the side, there is a shorter end of the sensor receiver jutting out a shorter distance from the wing plates than an opposite longer end of the sensor receiver. In one embodiment, a first end of the sensor receiver has an outer diameter circumference greater than that of the opposite second end. The caliper anchor plate has an outer edge slot for mounting of the ABS sensor brackets. The outer edge slots are generally 'U' or 'V' shaped. There are mounting holes in the outer radial areas bordering the outer edge slots. The larger diameter circumference of the first end will not allow both of the holes in the wing plates to align with both mounting holes of the outer radial area of the caliper anchor plate at the same time. In the embodiment shown in the figures, the shorter end is the first end that then is the only end of the sensor receiver that will mount facing axially outward from the caliper anchor plate. This of course may be reversed for different ABS wheel sensors, if a different sensor requires its longer end to be outwardly facing to achiever optimum speed sensing of wheel rotation.
