A perimeter seated knife gate valve is described. Perimeter and transverse seals may be formed together as a single-piece or as two separate pieces. Wire-reinforced and with a rectangular cross section, the perimeter seal (portion) may fit into a corresponding groove in the single-piece body of the valve. Transverse seal (portion) may include two channels formed as side grooves or tubular channels to accept packing material, which energize the seal and are isolated from the fluid stream. In the two-piece version, a bottom groove of the transverse seal may be used to interlock both pieces. The shape and structure of the seal may allow single-piece valve body.

Perimeter seated knife gate valve

Technologies are described for a bonnet assembly of a diaphragm valve. The bonnet assembly may comprise a handwheel. The bonnet assembly may comprise a housing. The housing may include a housing base. The housing base may include a top, a bottom, and four sides. Body stud heads of body studs of a body assembly may be in contact with an edge of the top of the housing base. The bonnet assembly may be configured to secure to the body assembly with the body stud heads at least partially exposed.

Keying structure

Technologies are described for devices and methods to determine a position of a valve. The devices may comprise a housing attached to an actuator. The actuator may be in physical communication with the valve. The devices may comprise a microcontroller within the housing. The microcontroller may be in communication with the actuator to control a position of the valve. The devices may comprise a position sensor module in communication with the microcontroller. The devices may comprise a position sensor target attached to at least one part of the actuator that moves. The position sensor module may be configured to detect movement and a position of the position sensor target, generate position data related to the position of the position sensor target, and transmit the position data to the microcontroller. The microcontroller may be configured to determine a position of the valve based on the position data.

Switch for diaphragm valve actuator

Technologies are described for a diaphragm. The diaphragm may comprise a structure. The structure may be a disc shape with a top and bottom side. The top and bottom sides may be circular in outline. The diaphragm may comprise a diaphragm stud at a center point on the top side. The diaphragm stud may be configured to couple with a connector of a bonnet assembly. The diaphragm may comprise a diaphragm bead on the bottom side. The diaphragm bead may be along a first axis. The diaphragm may comprise at least one tab which may extend radially from the structure along at an outer edge of the structure. The at least one tab may engage with a bonnet notch of a bonnet assembly to align the diaphragm to the bonnet assembly.

Diaphragm assembly

Diaphragm valves include plastic diaphragm and reduced or no elastomer backing cushion, where peripheral or all sealing forces may be applied directly to the diaphragm of the valve assembly. The valve assemblies may include a pressure ring to apply sealing force to a surface of the diaphragm with a reduced size or no backing cushion allowing a two-fold or more increase in pressure capacity of the valve assembly. An elastomer or metallic spring placed above a center diaphragm boss may provide center-to-edge compliance for passage seal.

A diverter valve housing including: a body including a base and a plurality of walls cooperatively forming a chamber; a partition within the chamber dividing the chamber into a plurality of compartments; a first port in a first of the walls and accessing a first of the compartments; and, second and third ports in a second of the walls and respectively accessing second and third ones of the compartments; wherein the partition further includes a surface which partially defines the first compartment and the surface is at least partially sloped towards the second wall.
