A recording media for phase change ink recording comprising: a support; 30-200 mg/dm of a receptive layer coated on the support wherein the receptive layer comprises: a binder comprising: a water soluble polymer; and a water insoluble polymer; wherein the combined weight of the water soluble polymer and the water insoluble polymer comprises at least 50%, by weight, and no more than 95%, by weight, water insoluble binder; and an optional inorganic particulate material. The media has an island size of no more than 15 &mgr;m and an asperity of 5.0 to 6.2 &mgr;m which is formed by controlling the drying rate.

Structured media for phase change ink printing

A cooking range, especially useful in commercial environments, wherein an automatic ignition gas burner is mounted thereon. The range includes an input valve connected to a gas fired burner element. The valve is mechanically operated by a plunger which is selectively engaged by a utensil placed on the cooking range in a preferred embodiment. The plunger may be connected to the valve directly or by a mechanical linkage.

Cooking range with automatic gas burner ignition

A cooking range, especially useful in commercial and domestic environments, wherein a grate and a wok ring are interchangeably mounted thereon. The range supports the wok ring and the grate over a gas fired burner element. The grate and the wok ring include a support plate which selectively engages the cooking range in a preferred orientaton. The wok ring includes a preferred configuration of the support ring.

Cooking range with interchangeable grate and wok ring

A gas-fired broiler which produces infrared heat by means of stainless steel radiants. Stainless steel baffles are located adjacent to and between each pair of radiants which causes the flue air and spent gases to be redirected over the hot radiants, thus superheating the air. The superheated air and the heat from the radiants further heat the baffles. By incorporating the baffles between each pair of radiants to block the direct venting of the air, greater efficiency is achieved. The improved efficiency of the broiler is provided by producing higher cooking temperatures while using the same amount of BTU's.

Turbo broiler

An assembly which provides a backpack convertible to bicycle panniers. The device provides a maximum amount of storage capacity and comfort to the wearer and a minimum amount of weight. A main storage element having three storage compartments carries a removable shoulder assembly. In the preferred form, two flat metal strips insert into sleeves on the back of the main storage element to provide a removable frame when the assembly is in the backpack mode. Also, preferably two side storage elements each having three storage compartments attach to either side of the main storage element. When the shoulder straps and frame are removed from the assembly, and the side elements are removed from the main storage element, the two side storage elements can be interconnected and mounted on the front rack of a bicycle to provide a front pannier element. The main storage element can be mounted on the back rack of a bicycle to provide a back pannier element. Further, preferably one side storage element can be removed from the main storage element and with a strap attached be worn about the waist of an individual.
