An earphone is provided that can decrease a time delay between a microphone and a loudspeaker. The earphone includes a microphone incorporated with the membrane of loudspeaker. The loudspeaker and the microphone are connected by connection lines to an electronic circuit.

Earphone with active suppression of ambient noise

A system determines the position of a sound source with a microphone in a fixed coordinate system. The microphone measures audio signals that are analyzed and processed to determine the position of the sound source in the fixed coordinate system. The system may adjust the direction of the microphone in the fixed coordinate system based on the processed audio signals and the position of the sound source. The microphone direction may be identified through an optical source that may be adjusted based on the processed audio signals and the position of the sound source.

System for determining the position of sound sources

An electrostatic microphone has a capsule housing and a diaphragm, a rigid electrode, and an electrical circuit on a printed circuit board arranged in the capsule housing. The diaphragm is connected to a ring shoulder provided on the front side of the capsule housing. Preferably, the capsule housing is divided into a housing bottom and a capsule lid, and the ring shoulder is provided on the capsule lid.

Electrostatic microphone

An electroacoustic transducer of small dimensions has a cup-shaped component made of a metallizable plastic material embedded in a housing component having a housing shape and being of a non-metallizable plastic material. The cup-shaped component has an inner surface provided with a metal coating. A magnet is arranged in the cup-shaped component. A diaphragm is connected to the housing component and has an oscillation coil configured to interact with the magnet.

Electroacoustic transducer with small dimensions

An electrostatic pressure-gradient microphone capsule to be mounted essentially flush in or behind especially flat mounting surfaces includes a capsule housing with two sound inlet openings which may be divided, a diaphragm tightly mounted on a diaphragm ring, an electrode and possibly an acoustic friction. The two sound entry openings are arranged on one side of the capsule housing, i.e., the front side, and one sound entry opening is connected acoustically conductively with the front side of the diaphragm and the other sound entry opening is connected acoustically conductively with the rear side of the diaphragm, and the diaphragm is arranged essentially parallel to the front side.

Pressure-gradient microphone capsule

An electroacoustic microphone transducer operating electrostatically has a microphone capsule, a flexprint, and a high-resistance pre-amplifier mounted on the flexprint and arranged in the microphone capsule. A post amplifier is arranged on a printed board. The flexprint has at least one part projecting past a cross-section of the microphone capsule. The flexprint is connected directly to the printed board of the post amplifier.

Contacting arrangement for an electroacoustic microphone transducer

A micro-microphone, for attachment to the clothing or directly to the body of a user, has a housing with a housing mantle, an end plate connected to a first end of the housing mantle, and a bottom plate connected to the second end of the housing mantle. The housing mantle has one or more openings, each covered by a membrane positioned external to the housing mantle. The housing and the membranes thus define an inner hollow space inside the housing. A flaccid diaphragm is connected externally to a portion of the housing and encloses together with the portion of the housing a compensation chamber. The flaccid diaphragm seals the compensation chamber moisture-tightly. A component of high acoustic impedance connects the inner hollow space inside the housing to the compensation chamber. Pressure compensation is thus realized while moisture is excluded from the interior of the microphone.
