The present invention relates to a liquid &#x3b1;-olefin vinyl acetate compound containing a liquid &#x3b1;-olefin vinyl acetate copolymer. Compositions according to the present invention have improved resistance to premature vulcanization as well as good physical properties and aging resistance. The present invention is also directed to a vulcanized compound containing a liquid ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer.

The present invention relates to polymer composites containing at least one, optionally hydrogenated, nitrile rubber polymer having a Mooney viscosity (ML 1+4 @ 100&#xb0; C.) in the range of from 50&#x2013;30 at least one filler and optionally at least one cross-linking agent, a process for preparing said polymer composite wherein at least one, optionally hydrogenated, nitrile rubber polymer having a Mooney viscosity (ML 1+4 @ 100&#xb0; C.) in the range of from 50&#x2013;30, at least one filler and optionally at least one cross-linking agent are mixed and a process for the manufacture of a shaped article including the step of injection molding a polymer composite containing at least one, optionally hydrogenated, nitrile rubber polymer having a Mooney viscosity (ML 1+4 @ 100&#xb0; C.) in the range of from 50-30, at least one filler and at least one cross-linking agent.

Hydrogenated nitrile rubber compositions with improved processability

A butyl polymer composition having improved cold flow properties is described. The composition comprises a butyl polymer (preferably a halogenated butyl polymer) and a styrene monomer. The styrene monomer is a copolymer of &#x3b1;-methylstyrene and another styrenic monomerer (e.g., styrene and vinyl toluene). Relative to the base butyl polymer, the cold flow properties of the butyl polymer composition are improved along with a number of other properties.
