A substance container has a cap that defines a cap space for an additive. The cap has a cap space opening closed by a seal which may or may not be pre-weakened, and a flexible press top having a pushing mechanism that reaches through the cap space attached on one end to the flexible top, while another end of the pushing mechanism is directed to the opening. The flexible press top has an upper side and an opposite lower side arranged such that upon depression the pushing mechanisms hold fixed radial positions during translation to the opening, contact with the seal and push through the seal.

A coffee bean packaging cartridge for holding and supplying multiple servings of coffee beans can be connected to a coffee beverage system. The cartridge includes a container having an outer wall defining an interior volume and an opening at one end thereof. A permanent, preferably non-removable closure member is fitted to the one end of the container and substantially covers the opening. An exit passage in the closure member, defines a coffee bean outlet, for transferring coffee beans from the interior volume. The closure member further has relatively movable closing means for selectively closing the exit passage to reduce exposure of the coffee bean contents to surrounding air. The cartridge further includes connecting means for connecting the cartridge to a coffee beverage system. There is also provided a coffee beverage system that includes the coffee bean packaging cartridge as defined above and at least a dosing device and a grinding mechanism. The dosing device may includes a metering chamber for receiving a portion of coffee beans corresponding to an amount necessary for preparing a single serving of coffee beverage.

A coffee beverage system is described including a coffee bean packaging cartridge and a coffee brewing apparatus. The packaging cartridge includes a container holding coffee beans and transportation component for transporting the coffee beans towards an exit opening of the cartridge. The coffee apparatus comprises a grinder for grinding the coffee beans from the cartridge and a brewing device for brewing coffee on the basis of ground coffee obtained by means of the grinder. The system is further provided with a metering chamber for receiving coffee beans which are transported with the aid of the transportation component into the metering chamber. The metering chamber comprises a bottom portion which forms a part of the grinder, said bottom portion being arranged in the coffee apparatus for rotating around an axis extending in a vertical direction.

Device and method for the separation of a part of a crop. The crop part is gripped with the use of a construction including the separation elements, such as cutting blades. The gripping of the crop part is performed with the use of two rollers between which the crop part is received. The crop part is subsequently gripped between the rollers and this construction moves along the crop part to an optimal position for the separation of the crop part from the rest of the crop.
