In a communication system for vehicle-to-environment communication, data to be transmitted is transmitted wirelessly as data packets. The system includes a communication unit and an application unit which are in contact with one another via an internal communication link, the communication unit having a high-frequency antenna and a transceiver for physical data transmission, in addition to a data processor for controlling the physical transmission. The application unit has at least one data processor configured to execute application programs, to control the access of the application programs to the vehicle-to-environment communication and to execute data communication security applications. The data processor of the application unit is configured to forward the data packets including the routing between communication users and to segment the data stream.

Communication system for vehicle-to-environment communication

A diversified antenna system is suitable for vehicle-to-vehicle or vehicle-to-infrastructure communication. The antenna system has a first antenna arrangement and a directional antenna arrangement. The first antenna arrangement has a blind spot from which it cannot receive a signal. The directional antenna arrangement is configured to receive signals from the blind spot of the first antenna arrangement. A vehicle is provided with such an antenna system and communication is effected between vehicles or between vehicles and infrastructures.

The present disclosure relates to communication systems for a motor vehicle. In some embodiments, a communication device may provide, for example, car-to-car communication (vehicle-to-vehicle communication). A communication system for a motor vehicle, the system may include: a transceiver unit for generating transmission signals where at least two of the transmission signals differ in their signal power; a cable to transmit the transmission signals to an antenna via a controllable amplifier device; a power detector device capturing a respective power value correlated with a power of the transmission signals at a tapping point between the cable and the antenna; and a control device controlling the amplifier device on the basis of the captured power values. The transceiver device generates at least one of the transmission signals with a predetermined reference power. A reference value describing the reference power is permanently predefined in the control device. The control device selects one of the power values as an actual value of the power of the transmission signal generated with the reference power at the tapping point and sets a transmission gain value of the amplifier device on the basis of a discrepancy between the reference value and the actual value.

To test the ESD resistance of a semiconductor component, for example of a NOS transistor, which can be used as a PSD protective element in a chip, a direct current characteristic of the semiconductor component is monitored and the ESD resistance of the respective semiconductor component is inferred depending on this. In particular, the direct current failure threshold of the semiconductor component at which an increased leakage current occurs in the non-conducting direction of the semiconductor component can be monitored in operation of the semiconductor component using an applied direct current and the ESD resistance of the semiconductor component inferred depending on a change in this direct current failure threshold.

The memory configuration has memory cells each with a selection transistor and a trench capacitor. The storage electrode is formed by a substrate region along the trench wall. A cell plate that forms a common opposing electrode for a number of memory cells lies inside the trench. The cell plate is structured in strips on the surface of the substrate. The strips can run parallel to the direction of cell rows or enclose a defined angle (other than zero) with this direction. The arrangement in the form of strips halves the minimum structure width in the region of the cell plate.
