The present invention relates to tasty, ready-to-eat, nutritional foods that offer an alternative to appealing but unhealthy foods. More particularly, tasty, ready-to-eat, nutritional foods that provide a balanced mix of amino acids, fat, and carbohydrates are disclosed. Processes for making, and methods of using said tasty, ready-to-eat, nutritional foods are also disclosed. The nutritious foods of the present invention are formulated and processed such that they resolve the dilemma that consumers have always been faced with&#x2014;healthy eating or enjoying what they eat.

A bib having one or more portions which are permanently elongated. The bib can include a strainable network. The network can be formed in a laminate of a paper layer and a plastic film layer. The strainable network can have at least two visually distinct regions. The strainable network can provide improved flexibility and fit of the bib against the wearer.

A bib having an improved pocket. The bib has a body panel, a pocket panel, and a third panel disposed between the body panel and the pocket panel. The third panel helps to maintain the pocket in an open configuration.

A bib having an improved pocket. The pocket is formed by a pocket panel disposed adjacent a body panel. A longitudinally extending crease is disposed in at least one of the pocket panel and the body panel. In one embodiment, the bib includes an apron panel for facilitating gravitational opening of the pocket. The apron can comprise a longitudinally extending crease. The creases in each panel can extend generally parallel to a longitudinal centerline of the bib.

The present invention provides a bib having a relatively high Notched Tear Resistance in combination with a relatively low Circular Bending Stiffness. The relatively high Notched Tear Resistance reduces the ability of an infant wearer to tear off a piece of the bib when a bib has been punctured (e.g. by biting). The relatively low Circular Bending Stiffness provides a soft, drapable bib which is comfortable to the wearer.

The present invention provides a bib having a generally planar neck opening which is longitudinally symmetric and laterally asymmetric. The generally planar neck opening can be teardrop shaped. In one embodiment the neck opening is formed by shoulder extensions extending from a bib body. The shoulder extensions can be overlapped, and a mechanical fastener associated with the distal ends of the shoulder extensions provides releasable fastening of the overlapping shoulder extensions.

The present invention provides a bib having a filamentary network disposed between a paper topsheet and a plastic film backsheet. The filamentary network can comprise a polymeric net having openings sized to prevent tearing of portions of the topsheet or backsheet from the bib. In one embodiment the filamentary network can comprise a nylon net having openings with a maximum width less than about 0.25 cm.

Tear resistant disposable bib

A disposable bib having an improved mechanical fastener assembly is disclosed. The mechanical fastener assembly includes an extended target surface and an array of prongs elements extending from a surface of the bib. The mechanical prong elements provide secure fastening of the bib shoulder extensions, yet are soft to the touch.
