A single-use cover assembly that obscures a substantial majority or an entirety of an injection needle from view before, during, and after an injection procedure. The cover assembly includes a housing and a needle sleeve that retracts and extends by sliding axially within the housing. The needle sleeve carries a locking collar that moves from a first position to a second position once the needle sleeve is fully retracted. In the first position the locking collar allows retraction of the needle sleeve from a fully extended position. In the second position, a portion of the locking collar covers a tip of the needle, thereby preventing retraction of the needle sleeve from the fully extended position.

Systems and methods for selectively enhancing the weight and aerodynamics of sporting equipment are provided. A system may include a piece of sporting equipment having openings extending through the sporting equipment. The system may include a plug operable to be secured within one of the openings extending through the sporting equipment. The plug may include a first end portion, a second end portion, and an attachment mechanism. The first end portion may include a first outer flange and a first body. The first outer flange may have a larger diameter than the first body. The second end portion may include a second outer flange and a second body. The second outer flange may have a larger diameter than the second body. The attachment mechanism may be configured to connect the first end portion to the second end portion to secure the plug within the one of the openings.

Systems and methods for selectively enhancing the weight and aerodynamics of sporting equipment

A geothermal heat containment barrier operable to be manipulated through an opening of a vault by at least partially folding the geothermal heat containment barrier, and positioned substantially horizontally against walls of the vault to reduce heat transfer through the barrier is provided. The barrier includes a central insulating core, a flexible outer frame, and an outer sealing trim. The central insulating core includes top and bottom outer surfaces and a perimeter edge. The central insulating core includes and/or contains an insulating material. The flexible outer frame has a shape memory and includes at least one flexible component having ends together such that the flexible outer frame is continuous and closed. The outer sealing trim is attached to the top and bottom outer surfaces and wraps around the perimeter edge of the central insulating core. The outer sealing trim is operable to press against the wall of the vault.

Geothermal heat containment barrier

Certain embodiments provide a face-down therapeutic system for improved posture and spine alignment. The system includes a face-piece including at least one cushion operable to receive a face of a user. The face-piece is adapted to be positioned on a flat surface. The system also includes two padded shoulder pieces, where each of the shoulder pieces is operable to receive a shoulder of the user. The shoulder pieces are adapted to be positioned on the flat surface. The system includes a padded pelvic-piece operable to receive a pelvis of the user. The pelvic-piece is adapted to be positioned on the flat surface.

Face-down therapeutic system for improved posture and spine alignment

Certain embodiments of the present invention provide an indicator integrated into an item. The indicator includes at least two separation edges. The first separation edge includes a first termination point and a second termination point. The second separation edge includes a third termination point and a fourth termination point. The indicator includes an aperture adjacent to the first and third termination points. The indicator includes a score adjacent to the second and fourth termination points. The indicator is separated from the item along the first and second separation edges using the aperture and folded over the score to an open position such that at least a portion of the indicator extends beyond a perimeter of the item and a void, contiguous with the aperture, exists between the first and second separation edges. The indicator is foldable over the score in an inward direction and an outward direction.

Built-in indicator flags

Certain embodiments provide a variably-sized removable portion integrated into an object. The object may include a surface and a variably-sized removable portion that includes separation edges that define a shape of the variably-sized removable portion. In certain embodiments, each of the separation edges is a different size and is concentrically-aligned with each other. Certain embodiments provide that each of the separations edges is separable from the surface of the object such that a size of an opening left when one of the separation edges is separated from the surface is variable depending on the size of the separation edge selected to be separated from the surface.

Objects with built-in, variably-sized, removable portions

Certain embodiments provide an apparatus for integrating an indicator flag into an item. The apparatus includes an upper portion and a base. The upper portion includes a cutting blade and a first attachment. The cutting blade is operable to cut the indicator flag into the item. The base includes a second attachment and one or more cutting grooves. The second attachment is operable to couple with the first attachment such that upper portion is movable towards the base. The one or more cutting grooves are operable to mate with the cutting blade when the upper portion is depressed and the upper portion moves towards the base.

The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for emitting light, sound and/or fragrance, which comprises a housing and means therein for connecting the apparatus to an electrical power source. A lighting system, sound system and fragrance system are mounted on or within the housing and are enabled simultaneously or individually by the electrical power source. The housing contains perforations, permeable membranes and/or translucent coverings on or in its walls to allow for the transmission of light, sound and fragrance when the apparatus is activated. The lighting system can be used as a direct light, nightlight, back light or a projected light, and the fragrance system utilizes various fragrances depending on the users desires. The sound system may contain a permanent sound chip or interchangeable sound cartridges, and the housing may have an almost limitless variety of desirable forms or designs and may contain interchangeable face plates to provide a wide variety of alternative decorative options. Because of the many decorative and functional options, the inventive apparatus can be made in different customized forms and located throughout the rooms of a house, with each customized apparatus being adapted to the specific room in which the apparatus is located in order to create a desired theme or environmental effect suitable for the particular room.
