A system for phishing domain detection receives a communication associated with a particular domain. The system extracts a first set of features from the communication, the first set of features including a name of the sender, a name of the domain, a time of receipt, a sentiment message, and attachment file associated with the communication. The system compares the first set of features with a second set of features associated with a historical communication labeled with a phishing domain. In response to determining that the first set of features corresponds to the second set of features, the system determines that the particular domain is the phishing domain.

Information security system and method for phishing domain detection

A system for preventing communications from detected phishing domains receives a communication associated with a particular domain. The system determines that the particular domain is a phishing domain. In response, in one embodiment, the system registers the particular domain in a Domain Name System (DNS) server to block the communication and future communications associated with the particular domain from being received at computing devices operably coupled with the DNS server. In another embodiment, the system registers the particular domain in the DNS server, such that the communication and future communications associated with the particular domain are re-routed to a particular server to monitor phishing activities implemented on the communications, where the phishing activities comprise attempting to obtain login credentials and private information associated with receivers of the communication and future communications.

Information security system and method for preventing communications from detected phishing domains

An apparatus is configured to receive a complaint initiation signal that includes an indication that a card reader may be compromised, and initiation date and time of the complaint, and geolocation data related to the reporting party. The apparatus is further configured to identify a street address closest to the geolocation data in the complaint using a geolocation application programming interface and the set of geolocation data. The apparatus is also configured to determine that the identified street address is associated with an entity. The apparatus then calculates a confidence interval as to whether that entity is the type of entity that uses a card reader. The apparatus is further configured to determine that the confidence interval exceeds a threshold. The apparatus is also configured to determine an identifier of the entity. Further, the apparatus is configured to publish an alert to a data feed.

A system for facilitating a distribution interaction session between two or more user devices through peer-to-peer connections comprises a processor associated with a server. The processor is configured to receive a request from a first user device to initiate a distribution interaction session between the first user device and a second user device via a distribution interaction application. The first user device has established a peer-to-peer connection with the second user device based on geolocation information. The processor is further configured to initiate the distribution interaction session from the distribution interaction application and to receive account information from the first user device through data streaming between the first user device and the server. The processor is further configured to determine an account associated with a first user based on the received account information and to conduct the distribution interaction session between the first user and a second user.

System and method using peer-to-peer connections for a distribution interaction session

A system includes a device including one or more sensors that generate one or more signals used to detect whether an unauthorized activity has occurred at the device. The device is configured to transmit the one or more signals generated by the one or more sensors. The central monitoring device is configured to receive the one or more signals and compare the one or more signals with a baseline signal for the device. The baseline signal includes an expected signal for each of the one or more sensors when the unauthorized activity has not occurred. The monitoring device determines whether the unauthorized activity has occurred based on a result of the comparison.

An apparatus is configured to receive a data feed. The data feed includes location data of a first card reader that may be compromised and an identifier of the party that initiated the alert. The apparatus is further configured to determine that the location data of the first card reader matches a location identifier associated with a first card reader owner profile. The apparatus is also configured to determine that the owner of the card reader is not the entity receiving the alert. The apparatus then determines that there is not a match between the identifier of the party that initiated the alert and a user identifier from a plurality of user account profiles. The apparatus is further configured to transmit a message to the card reader owner indicating that the card reader may be compromised.
