A system identifying an order comprising items for users for delivery to a common geographic location by: identifying an order comprising items for users for delivery to a common geographic location, wherein the order further comprises instructions to separate each item of the items associated with each one of the users by: receiving an indication to identify the each item of the items in the order, wherein the order is stored in a database of a retailer; receiving an indication to identify the users associated with the order by accessing user accounts for the each one of the users, wherein the user accounts are stored in a user database; receiving an indication to identify a particular user of the users that is associated with the each item of the items in the order; and generating a list of items of the items associated with the each one of the users; calculating respective payments for respective portions of the order, wherein the each one of the users is presented with a respective one of the lists of items and a respective cost for the respective one of the lists of items associated with the respective portions of the order; receiving the respective payments associated with the respective portions of the order from the each one of the users, the respective payments being applied to the respective one of the lists of items; and generating order processing instructions to process the respective one of the lists of items associated with the each one of the users after receiving respective ones of the respective payments from respective ones of the each one of the users. Order processing systems and methods

Example item reminder systems and methods are described. In one implementation, a method receives a request to create an order and receives identification of multiple items in the order. The method identifies multiple items regularly purchased by a customer but not included in the multiple items. The method also identifies a purchase frequency of the regularly purchased items. If any of the regularly purchased items are due for purchase, based on the purchase frequency, the customer is presented with an option to purchase those regularly purchased items that are due for purchase.

Item reminder systems and methods

Example order processing systems and methods are described. In one implementation, a method identifies an order containing multiple items and receives an indication of multiple people associated with the order. The method also receives an indication of a particular person associated with each of the multiple items. Payment information is received for each of the multiple people and that payment information is used to purchase the particular items associated with the particular person. Order processing instructions are generated that identify particular items associated with each of the multiple people.

Methods and systems of detection of presence in and delivery to location are provided. A method detects a presence of a mobile device within a perimeter of a geographic region. The method searches a database to determine whether the first mobile device is associated with any existing account. Responsive to determining that the mobile device is associated with a first account, the method searches the database to determine whether there is any pending task associated with the first account. Responsive to determining that there is a pending task associated with the first account, the method transmits a first message indicating the detection of presence of the mobile device associated with the first account. The method determines that the mobile device is at least approximately at a first location of a plurality of predefined locations within the perimeter. The method transmits information associated with the first location to the computing device.

Techniques for allowing a customer to order goods on-line or remotely and to pick-up the goods at a desired location or store are disclosed. The techniques include receiving a customer order. The customer order includes at least one good. The techniques further include establishing a list of alternative goods if one or more of the goods in the customer order are unavailable and allowing the customer to choose one of the alternative goods as a substitute good and establishing a revised customer order.

A method for providing purchase suggestions to a customer is provided. The method may include a computer server associated with a store receiving multiple receipts for past purchase transactions from a customer. The server may identify products on the receipts and analyze the products and receipt dates to determine a frequency with which the customer purchases a particular product. The server may also determine a date when the customer last purchased the particular product and transmit a purchase suggestion for the product to the customer at a time correlated with the customer needing to purchase the particular product based on a date when the customer last purchased the particular product and the frequency with which the customer purchases the particular product.

Methods and systems to create purchase lists from customer receipts

Embodiments of a computer-implemented method and system pertaining to drive through grocery pickup are described. In one example, a computer-implemented method receives geographic information about a user. The geographic information indicates that the user is within a predetermined area associated with the physical store. The method also determines whether there is a pending remotely placed order for a user account associated with the user in a database associated with the physical store. In response to a determination that there is the pending remotely placed order for the user account associated with the user in the database, the method transmits order information to a computing device of the physical store. The order information includes one or more items in the pending remotely placed order. The method also determines a current location of the user. The method further causes a delivery of the one or more items to the current location.

Techniques for allowing a store to provide same day delivery to customers are disclosed. The techniques include receiving a delivery location for delivery of the item with a customer order, providing the delivery location to a delivery server, the delivery server comparing the delivery location to existing delivery locations for a same day delivery route, and providing potential delivery times to the store server. The techniques also include the store server correlating the possible delivery times with predetermined delivery windows, presenting to the customer potential delivery windows for the order, and receiving from the customer a selection of a delivery window.

Methods and systems for providing coupons to a customer are provided. The method may include a computer server associated with a store receiving, from a customer, an image of a receipt from a competing store. The server may identify a product on the receipt which was purchased by the customer at the competing store and a purchase price. The server may compare the product with a corresponding product sold by the store to determine if the product was purchased by the customer at the competing store for a lower price than a price at which the corresponding product is sold at the store. The server may prepare a coupon for the customer to offer the customer a discount for shopping at the store if the product was purchased by the customer at the competing store for a lower price and transmit the coupon to the customer.

Techniques for allowing customer to order goods on-line or remotely and to pick-up the goods at a desired location or store are disclosed. The techniques include receiving a customer order. The location for delivery of the item with a customer order. The customer order includes at least one good and an associated customer identification number, e.g., a customer motor vehicle license plate number. The techniques further includes capturing images of the license plates of motor vehicles as the motor vehicles enter an order pick-up area located at the store, and if the associated customer motor vehicle license plate number matches one of the received motor vehicle license plate numbers from the optical character recognition unit, delivering the customer order to the motor vehicle associated with the customer.
