A wellbore patching system includes a radially expandable tube member including a sheet wrapped in a spiral. The sheet includes a first circumferential edge and a second circumferential edge opposite the first circumferential edge and coupled to the first circumferential edge. The radially expandable tube member includes a hollow interior. The wellbore patching system includes a deployment tool including: a tool body; and a restraining device coupled to the tool body and configured to prevent radial expansion of the tube member when the tool body is positioned within the hollow interior of the tube member and the restraining device is applied to the tube member. The first circumferential edge is bent to form a first hook, the second circumferential edge is bent to form a second hook, and the first circumferential edge is coupled to the second circumferential edge by the first hook engaging the second hook.

Expandable wellbore loss control patch

A wellbore system includes a drill string extending into a main wellbore and an untethered cutting tool disposed within the drill string. The untethered cutting tool includes at least one cutting element operable to sever the drill string such that an upper portion of the drill string may be withdrawn from the wellbore. A sidetrack tool is integrally coupled to an upper end of the untethered cutting tool. The sidetrack tool may include at least one of a whipstock, a whipstock latch, and a cement plug cup. The sidetrack tool may facilitate drilling a sidetrack wellbore by limiting the number of trips into the main wellbore.

A system and method for retrieving materials from a wellbore includes a retrieval assembly. The retrieval assembly includes a collar, a camera, a retrieval tool, a powered swivel, a wireline side entry subassembly, and multiple stands of drill pipe. The collar includes a wireline connection. The camera is oriented towards the distal end of the retrieval assembly. The wireline side entry subassembly is attached to a stand of drill pipe. The wireline assembly connects from the retrieval assembly to a user interface at the surface.
