A system for removing parasites from fish includes a downwardly angled enclosed conduit through which individual fish freely pass, and two or more spaced sets of arms extending inward from the conduit. There is a spray nozzle for each arm connected to a fluid source for dislodging parasites from the fish. The arms are adjustable relative to the enclosed conduit depending on the size of the fish in the conduit for closely spacing the spray nozzles with respect to the fish without stressing or harming the fish.

System and method for treating fish

A battery powered remotely controlled robot is equipped with a drive subsystem for ground travel, a flight subsystem for flight operations, and an obstacle detection subsystem. The robot is configured so that during a mission the drive subsystem is energized to maneuver the robot on the ground for a majority of the mission. The robot is further configured so that upon detection of an obstacle, the flight subsystem is energized to traverse the obstacle. The fight subsystem is energized only to traverse obstacles thus saving battery power and increasing the mission time.

A ground pressure detonation device includes a housing, a foot coupled to the housing, and an oscillation subsystem associated with the housing configured to oscillate the housing such that the foot impacts the ground with sufficient oscillating force to ensure detonation of one or more pressure sensitive explosive devices in and/or on the ground.

A video endoscope system includes a reusable control cabinet and an endoscope that is connectable thereto. The endoscope may be used with a single patient and then disposed. The endoscope includes an illumination mechanism, an image sensor, and an elongate shaft having one or more lumens located therein. An articulation joint at the distal end of the endoscope allows the distal end to be oriented by the actuators in the control cabinet or actuators in a control handle of the endoscope. Fluidics, electrical, navigation, image, display and data entry controls are integrated into the system along with other accessories.

A cornering pipe traveler includes a tractor having a pair of carriages, a leading carriage and a trailing carriage, each carriage including a clamping device for positively engaging the inner surface of the pipe, and structure for propelling the carriage along the pipe; interconnected between the pair of carriages there is a device for exerting a curling force between the two carriages for mechanically compelling the lead carriage to curl and enter a turn in the pipe; also included is structure for aligning the lead carriage so that the curling force compels the pipe traveler to enter a selected turn to be made.
