A system and method for determining a safe return to a vehicle that include determining at least one safety feature that is associated to a travel plan that pertains to a user safely returning to the vehicle from a designated location. The system and method also include analyzing sensor data and user input data and determining if there is at least one of: a deviation from the travel plan, an existence of at least one probable safety threat that affects the user, and an existence of at least one emergency that affects the user. The system and method further include sending at least one emergency alert based on the at least one safety feature.

System and method for determining a safe return to a vehicle

A frame structure for an all-terrain vehicle includes upper main frame members and lower main frame members, each upper and lower main frame member extended in a longitudinal direction of the frame structure. The lower main frame members have forward and rearward portions mounted to the upper main frame members and central portions extended in a lateral direction of the frame structure outward of the upper main frame members. First sub-frame members are mounted to the forward and rearward portions of the lower main frame members. The first sub-frame members separate a component space defined by the frame structure into an upper component space and a lower component space. An electric motor is located in the lower component space, and a battery pack is located in the upper component space.

Autonomous all-terrain vehicle frame structure

A system for herding a group of animals includes a master autonomous vehicle including a controller, a camera in communication with the controller for supplying image data to the controller, a global positioning satellite apparatus for determining a position of the master autonomous vehicle, and a ranging unit for determining a distance to an object to the autonomous vehicle in communication with the controller. The system further includes a plurality of client autonomous vehicles, each of the plurality of client autonomous vehicles being operated by the controller of the master autonomous vehicle and a herding apparatus for keeping the group of animals between the master autonomous vehicle and each of the plurality of client autonomous vehicles.

Autonomous all-terrain vehicles for herding

A frame structure for an all-terrain vehicle includes upper main frame members and lower main frame members extending in a longitudinal direction of the frame structure. The lower main frame members have forward and rearward portions mounted to the upper main frame members and central portions extended in a lateral direction of the frame structure outward of the upper main frame members. A component mounting bracket is mounted to a forward end portion of the upper main frame members, upper forward suspension sub-frame members, and second sub-frame members disposed bridgingly between the upper main frame members and the upper forward suspension sub-frame members. A battery pack charger is mounted to the component mounting bracket in a space between component mounting bracket and a grille.
