Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a polarization shifter including a lower substrate having disposed thereon first and second transmission lines for coupling to a feed network, an upper substrate having disposed thereon third and fourth transmission lines for respective communicative coupling to orthogonally-polarized elements of a radiating element, and a dielectric layer residing between the lower substrate and the upper substrate, the upper substrate being configured to mechanically couple to the radiating element, the dielectric layer coupling the first transmission line with the third transmission line and coupling the second transmission line with the fourth transmission line, the upper substrate being rotatable relative to the lower substrate to effect polarization adjusting for the radiating element to facilitate avoidance of interference or passive intermodulation (PIM). Polarization shifting devices and systems for interference mitigation

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, detecting, by a monitoring system associated with a communication system, signals received at an array of orthogonally-polarized radiating elements of an antenna, causing, via a motorized drive assembly, the array of orthogonally-polarized radiating elements to sequentially rotate to a plurality of positions, obtaining, by a control system from the monitoring system and for each of the plurality of positions, data relating to signals from the array of orthogonally-polarized radiating elements, based on the data, determining, by the control system, an optimal position of the plurality of positions for the array of orthogonally-polarized radiating elements at which an impact of passive intermodulation (PIM) on the communications system is minimized, and controlling, by the control system, the motorized drive assembly to cause the array of orthogonally-polarized radiating elements to occupy the optimal position. Method and system for detecting interference and controlling polarization shifting to mitigate the interference

A multi-band antenna has a feed point, a grounding location, a first portion for low band operation, a second portion for low band operation, and one or more portions for high band operation. The ground reference of the feed point for the multi-band antenna is connected to a separate object that may provide a base for the multi-band antenna. The feed point of the multi-band antenna may be spaced above the base and have a space between the feed point and a location for the ground point. The low band portion has multiple resonances that are often odd multiples of the lowest resonant response. The portions that resonant most dominantly in the high band often have multiple resonances that are even multiples of the lowest high band resonance. The multi-band antenna has resonances spaced closely enough to appear to be a wide band antenna above the fundamental high band resonance.

Antenna system

Embodiments of the present invention provides an antenna and an antenna system. The antenna includes a body member, a head member integrally connected to a first edge of the body member, wherein the head member forms a fold having a first angle towards the front face of the body member, and a first arm member and a second arm member, wherein the first arm member and the second arm member are integrally connected to the body member corresponding to the second edge and the third edge of the body member, and wherein the set of arm members each form a fold having a second angle towards the front face of the body member.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a motorized drive assembly that includes a motor and a drive assembly, where the drive assembly has an axle configured to be disposed through a rotatable substrate of a polarization shifter for a dual-polarized radiating element, the axle being further configured to fasten, at a first end of the axle, to a support structure of the polarization shifter, wherein, when the motorized drive assembly is assembled to the polarization shifter, the motor is controllable to impart rotational forces, via movement of the axle, to the polarization shifter to effect polarization adjusting for the dual-polarized radiating element. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Method and system for driving polarization shifting to mitigate interference

A massage system includes a massage head configured to contact a treatment region of a patient during a massage treatment procedure, a body having a handle, a connector having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is releasable secured to the body and the second end is coupled to the massage head, a motor positioned within the body and configured to drive movement of the massage head relative to the body, and a platform configured to be placed against the patient during a massage treatment procedure. The platform defines an opening. The platform is positioned so that the massage head extends at least partially through the opening during movement of the massage head relative to the body, and the platform surrounds the massage head in at least one dimension during movement of the massage head relative to the body.

Massage apparatus, systems and methods

A mobile antenna array system has a first baseplate with a first groundplane. An elevated second baseplate defines an elevated second groundplane. A plurality of support antennas are positioned between the first baseplate and the elevated second baseplate. The plurality of support antennas comprise multiple antennas configured to work at different frequencies. The plurality of support antennas are coupled to the first and second baseplates in mechanical connections that provide enhanced stability, tight tolerances, repeatability and low cost through the use of printed circuit boards as substrates for one or more of the antennas and baseplates. An elevated GPS antenna is positioned above the elevated second baseplate in use. The elevated GPS antenna is configured to work within a GPS range of frequencies different from the support antenna ranges of frequencies. The elevated GPS antenna has improved GPS transmissions and the support antennas also have improved positioning and functionality.

Mobile multi-frequency RF antenna array with elevated GPS devices, systems, and methods

Antenna systems have an RF connector, a PCB dipole antenna, and a radome. The RF connector provides a direct connection to the PCB and limits PIM. An omni-directional WiFi antenna has a pair of horizontal dipole antennas on a PCB having different wavelengths and same frequency. An omni-directional UMTS dual antenna has a vertical arrangement of two independent antennas on a PCB and has a jumper printed circuit board connecting the RF connector to the upper antenna. Corresponding connectors, radomes, and ways of combining antenna elements on a single PCB are also disclosed. A single frequency omnidirectional antenna includes both half and full wavelength dipole elements. A plus-shaped radome enhances the omnidirectional radiation pattern of the enclosed antenna. A jumper printed circuit board allows independent antennas on a single circuit board without the degradation of internal coaxial connections. The connector provides a direct interface with a circuit board to reduce the number of parts and also reduce passive intermodulation.
