A method for processing an original total stream delivering a modified total stream, the original total stream being sent out by a head-end and addressed to a plurality of broadcasting sites, and including at least one physical layer pipe encapsulating a transport stream. The method includes receiving the original total stream, and for at least one physical layer pipe of the original total stream, called an original pipe: extracting the transport stream encapsulated in the original pipe, called an original transport stream; obtaining a modified transport stream by replacing at least one main content carried by the original transport stream by at least one secondary content; time-shifting the original total stream; aligning the modified transport stream with the original total stream obtained after time shift; and replacing, in the original pipe, the original transport stream by the modified transport stream.

Method for processing an original global stream including at least one physical layer tunnel encapsulating a transport stream

Method of broadcasting a set of national and regional DVB-T2 programs not requiring duplicating the broadcasting of the national programs nor uploading the regional programs to a central point. This method is based on the creation of various T2-MI streams using PLP technology. A T2-MI stream is dedicated to the national programs. T2-MI streams are created for the regional programs. The national programs intended to be replaced by regional programs are isolated in specific pipes. The frame durations and the size of the box are harmonized between the various pipes. Each transmitter receives firstly the national T2-MI stream and at least one regional T2-MI stream. It has a device for replacing at least one pipe of the national T2-MI stream with a pipe of the regional T2-MI stream in order to generate the T2-MI stream to be transmitted.

DVB-T2 broadcasting method with the insertion of regional content, and device used in the method

The invention relates to a method of generating an optimized contribution signal comprising multiplexes. Each multiplex comprises global broadcasting services and its own combination of regional services. Each multiplex comprises stuffing packets and packets transporting signaling tables. The optimized contribution signal is generated by retaining only the global broadcasting services that are different from one another. The stuffing packets are marked and the packets transporting the signaling tables according to the multiplex to which they belong. Data bursts are constructed from the data streams corresponding to the global broadcasting services, to the regional services and to the marked stuffing packets and to the marked packets transporting the signaling tables. Another subject of the invention is a demultiplexing method, an optimized contribution signal and a regionalized data broadcasting system, and a receiver. More particularly, the invention makes it possible to optimize the bandwidth needed to broadcast, in data bursts, notably via a satellite link, global broadcasting services and regional broadcasting services.
