A modular air conditioning (AC) system including one or more AC modules is provided. The AC modules may be adapted to function individually or cooperatively as part of a modular system. The AC modules may be further adapted to connect in a variety of advantageous ways to facilitate the supply of conditioned air to a variety of downstream applications.

Modular heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and methods

An airplane ground support system includes a multi-voltage power supply. A control system within the power conversion module receives measurements to regulate the power module's output to a predetermined preset voltage level as mandated by the power output selection signal. In an alternate embodiment a multi-voltage or upgradable power supply has A.C. and D.C. capability, A.C. only capability with an upgrade kit available to add D.C. capability in addition to the A.C. capability, D.C. only capability with an upgrade kit available to add A.C. capability in addition to the D.C. capability.

Multi-voltage power supply for a universal airplane ground support equipment cart

A ground support system configured to support servicing of aircraft may include a main body housing one or both of an engine and/or a blower, a control panel that is used to control operation of one or both of the engine and/or blower, and at least one acoustic wave engagement member positioned on the control panel. The acoustic wave member(s) is configured to selectively activate and deactivate an engine or blower function when touched by an operator. The acoustic wave engagement member(s) operates in the presence of moisture and debris.

Ground support system

A modular aircraft support system is disclosed. In one embodiment, the modular system includes a mobile cart and an air conditioning system configured to provide conditioned air to an aircraft. The embodiment also includes a modular power converter for converting input power to a desired output power, which can be input to a supported aircraft. The cart is configured to receive a plurality of different interchangeable power converters, such as a 115 VAC, 400 Hz power converter or a 270 VDC power converter. In some embodiments, a variety of other components are also coupled to the mobile cart, including a local generator and engine. The generator may supply power to the air conditioning system and to the converter.
