Method and system for improving interpersonal communication

A combined dump truck and spreader apparatus is disclosed for selectively dumping and spreading materials. The apparatus includes a truck chassis and a body for receiving and dispensing the materials. The body has a first and a second end and a first and second curved side wall. The body is secured to the chassis and a tailgate is secured to the first end of the body. An auger arrangement is disposed within the body and extends between the first and second ends thereof for transporting the materials along the body. The tailgate defines an opening which co-operates with the auger arrangement for permitting the flow therethrough of the materials. The arrangement is such that selective spreading and dumping of the materials from the opening is permitted.

Combined dump truck and spreader apparatus

A wing plow apparatus is disclosed for attachment to a vehicle for carrying out a benching operation. The apparatus includes a moldboard having an inboard and an outboard end and a top edge and a cutting edge. A wing post supports and guides the moldboard between a lower and a benching disposition of the moldboard, the benching disposition being higher than the lower disposition. The wing post includes a cylinder and a piston slidably disposed within the cylinder. A connecting rod has a first and a second end, with the first end being secured to the piston. The second end of the connecting rod is rigidly connected to the vehicle. The wing post also includes a further cylinder and a further piston slidably disposed within the further cylinder. A further connecting rod has a first and a second termination. The first termination is secured to the further piston and the second termination is connected to the inboard end of the moldboard. The cylinder and the further cylinder are rigidly secured to each other. The arrangement is such that in operation of the apparatus, when the cylinders are connected to a source of pressurized hydraulic fluid, selective movement of the further connecting rod in a first direction away from the connecting rod and in a second direction towards the connecting rod is permitted.

Wing plow apparatus for attachment to a vehicle for carrying out a benching operation

A single wheel caster apparatus is disclosed for supporting a plow. The apparatus includes a wheel and an axle, the axle extending through the wheel such that the wheel is rotatably supported by the axle. Additionally, a first and a second fork are provided with each fork having a proximal and a distal end. A head which defines a plurality of detents is rigidly secured to a cross member and extends therefrom in a direction away from the wheel. A tube has a first and second extremity and defines a bore for the reception therein of the head. The tube defines a first radial passageway which is disposed in the vicinity of the detents. A flexible tubular lining is disposed within the bore of the tube. A first member is slidably disposed within the first passageway with the first member being disposed adjacent to the lining such that the lining is located between the first member and one of the detents. Also, a first spring is disposed within the first passageway for biasing the first member towards the one of the detents, the arrangement being such that an interaction of the first member with the lining permits controlled relative rotation of the head within the tube so that when the wheel rotates about the axle, wobble of the wheel and the forks is inhibited, while the interaction permits rotation of the forks relative to the tube during turning and reversing of the plow.

Single wheel caster apparatus

A scraper apparatus is disposed beneath a truck for moving and scraping materials such as snow and ice. The scraper apparatus includes a moldboard scraper which is disposed beneath the truck for moving and scraping materials. A supporting table is disposed between the scraper and the truck for rotatably supporting the scraper. Also, slidable members extend from the table to the truck for permitting tilting of the table and the scraper secured thereto relative to the truck such that the moving and scraping of the materials is permitted regardless of an angle of the truck relative to a level and disposition of the materials.

Scarper apparatus

A scraper apparatus is disclosed for mounting under a body of a truck. The apparatus includes a table having a forward and a trailing end. The forward end is pivotally secured to the body of the truck. The arrangement is such that the table is permitted to pitch relative to the body of the truck. A bearing is secured to the table and is disposed between the forward and the trailing ends. A mold board scraper is disposed below and supported by the table with the mold board scraper being rotatably secured to the table by the bearing. A hydraulic cylinder secured to the mold board scraper rotates the scraper relative to the table and an actuator pivots the table for controlling the pitch of the table and the mold board secured to the table so that scraping of snow, ice and gravel regardless of the level thereof relative to the truck is permitted.

Underbody scraping apparatus with pitch control

A first and second conveyor are disposed within the body and extend between the first and second ends thereof for conveying the materials along the body. The tailgate defines a first and a second opening which co-operate respectively with the first and the second conveyor for permitting the flow therethrough of the materials. The arrangement is such that selective spreading and dumping of the materials from at least one of the openings is permitted. A sloping guide extends between the conveyors for guiding the materials towards the conveyors.

The support framework for supported mounting of a mounting arm of a wing plow blade includes two mirror image sections, one mounted on each side wall of a forward plow frame. Each section includes a substantially squared peripheral lip within which a first and second plate are contiguously seated in side by side manner, each securing the position of the other within the lip. The first plate is rotatable about a hinge to a position outside the lip, allowing the second plate, which is attached to the side wall of the forward plow frame by a pivot, to pivot forwardly and rearwardly within the confines of the lip, allowing for tiltability of a vertical mounting post of the wing plow which is engaged to the second plate by means of the wing plow mounting are extending therethrough.

Wing plow mounting support framework

The framework engages to a canister type push frame of a plow and extends upwardly therefrom, and forwardly therefrom along a rear surface of a plow blade centered along the length of the plow blade. The framework includes centered chain engaging structure which is forward of a forward tilt pivot point for the plow blade and includes structure for engaging the canister type actuator for the plow blade as well.

Level lift framework for canister type plow push frame

The framework engages to a push blade of a plow assembly and extends upwardly and forwardly therefrom along a rear surface of a plow blade of the assembly, terminating at a position forward of a forward tilt pivot point for the plow blade. A chain is engaged to a center point of a horizontal cross beam of the framework which engages forward ends of a pair of upwardly and forwardly extending side beams of the framework, the framework being centered relative to the lateral extent of the plow blade.
