An articulated chain comprises alternate inner and outer chain links interconnected by a chain joint. Each inner chain link comprises at least one chain link plate and each outer chain link comprises at least two chain link plates, and the chain link plates have a structured link plate back that is adapted to be brought into contact with a tensioning or guide rail. The structured link plate back comprises at least one recess having a closed circumference or at least one recess having a circumference that is closed with the exception of an access opening, and is straight or slightly concave in shape for contact with a tensioning or guide rail. A chain drive comprising a driving sprocket, at least one driven sprocket, and at least one tensioning or guide rail and an articulated chain, in contact with the at least one tensioning or guide rail is provided.

Articulated chain with low-friction link plate back

A rocker joint for a bush chain or roller chain, comprises a bush having a through-passage running along the bush longitudinal axis, a first rocker surface formed in the through-passage, and a pin arranged in the through-passage of the bush and which has a second rocker surface formed thereon. A chain comprises inner and outer chain links, which are offset relative to each other, the inner and outer chain links being connected by rocker joints, each of which comprises a bush and a pin. A friction-reducing joint and a chain with reduced friction and less wear are provided, and thus a reduced COemission of the associated internal combustion engine, the chain being stable and easy to produce. This is achieved in that the bush is configured as a straight circular cylinder in which the through-passage is arranged in the bush eccentrically with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bush.

Friction- and wear-reducing joint for a bush chain or roller chain

A method for producing high-performance chain link plates with a link plate pitch T, comprises: clocked feeding of a sheet metal band with a feed length V per cycle, pre-punching at least two chain link plate blanks arranged in succession, re-cutting at least one chain link plate blank, wherein at least the still connected head areas of the chain link plate blanks arranged in succession are excepted from the re-cutting process separating the connected head areas of chain link plate blanks arranged in succession, wherein the feed length V is smaller than 2.1&#xd7;T and the upper and/or lower side of the head areas connected to each other is/are provided at least partially with a concave run by a punching process substantially adjacent to the end face produced later. A method is also provided for producing a high-performance chain and to correspondingly produced high-performance link plates and high-performance chain.

Low-waste method for producing high-performance chain link plates

An articulated chain comprising chain links interconnected at chain hinges, with each chain hinge comprises a hinge pin and a hinge bearing surrounding said hinge pin, and the hinge pins are provided with a bonded layer on the outer circumferential surface thereof. The hinge bearings are produced from a sintered material, with the bottom of the borided layer, which faces the base material, being provided with teeth.

Articulated chain

A link chain having chain links interconnected at respective hinge points by a hinge bolt, at least one bearing bushing arranged on a hinge bolt, at least one roller arranged on said bearing bushing such that it is rotatable about the hinge bolt, and an axial retaining device attached to the hinge bolt and used for axially securing the bearing bushing and the roller. For reducing vibrations in the link chain, a bearing bushing is provided having an axial damping area on at least one end face area thereof, the damping area being formed integrally with the bearing bushing, and the bearing bushing being arranged such that the damping area rests against the axial retaining device.

Link Chain

In a hollow bolt link chain of a conveyor device, in which at least one adapter is provided for affixing a carrier of the chain, which is detachably secured in a hollow bolt with an adapter foot, the adapter foot comprises at its insertion end at least one locking element adjustable in elastically resetting fashion between a holding position and a pull-out position, which engages behind a counter-catch at the hollow bolt at least in positive locking fashion in the holding position. At least one locking element adjustable in elastically resetting fashion from a holding position spread away from the longitudinal axis of the adapter foot in the direction towards the longitudinal axis is disposed at the insertion end of the adapter foot in an adapter for the detachable fastening of a carrier to a hollow bolt link chain of a conveyor device.
