An electrical service device having a housing is disclosed, in which voltage-carrying components are accommodated which are accessible via openings in the housing of the service device. At least one opening can have at least one wall-like insulating barrier associated with it which consists of an electrically insulating material and with which it is possible for the air gaps and leakage paths between two adjacent openings to be increased. The insulating barrier can be fixed to the housing of the service device.

The disclosure relates to an electrical switching device, in particular a thermal relay having at least one contact point in which, in a first position, the contact point is open and, in a second position, the contact point is closed, having a swivelling contact carrier on which the at least one moving contact piece is held and having an actuator for driving the contact carrier. The actuator is a swivel element, which can rotate about a first axis of rotation, said swivel element being made up of two partial elements, which can be slid in mutually opposing directions and are pushed apart by spring force, of which the first partial element is rotatably mounted and the second partial element acts together with the contact carrier at its free end.

An electrical service distribution board is accommodated in a housing, has a feed conductor that is inserted into the housing and has outgoer conductors that lead to individual loads. Electrical service devices with different protection tasks, such as fault current protection, short circuit or over-current protection and the like, which can be connected to the feed conductor and to the outgoer conductors by a plug connection via a connection system which contains connection conductors connected to them. A mounting plate is providing for holding the service devices, with the connection conductors disposed underneath the mounting plate and the mounting plate having openings into which plug elements which are disposed on the service devices can be inserted.

A magnetic release is described for an electrical switching device, such as a circuit breaker, which has a coil, a core located inside the coil, and an armature in the form of a plunger-type armature which can move inside the coil or in the form of a hinged armature. The coil is stamped and bent from sheet metal composed of an electrically highly conductive material. It has first webs that are located at a distance from one another in a first plane and second webs that are likewise located at the same distance from one another in a second plane. The webs each run parallel to one another and are offset with respect to one another in such a manner that the webs are disposed with connecting webs in a helical shape around a center axis, and on the inside form a through-opening for accommodating at least one core.

An electrical service switching device includes a contact point, a moveable contact piece, an auxiliary switch associated with the contact point and having a coupling element and an auxiliary switch contact point coupled to the moveable contact piece, the coupling element actuating the auxiliary switch contact point, and a T-shaped housing. The housing has a transverse web with two trailing narrow-side walls and a fastening surface perpendicular to the two trailing narrow-side walls, a longitudinal web with a leading front surface parallel to the fastening surface, leading narrow-side walls on both sides of the leading front surface, the leading narrow-side walls perpendicular to the leading front surface, and two trailing front surfaces parallel to the fastening surface. At least one of the two trailing front surfaces connects the transverse web and the longitudinal web. The auxiliary switch is releasably attachable to the housing. The electrical service switching device is preferably a circuit-breaker or a residual-current-operated circuit-breaker. The auxiliary switch displays the switch position and is inserted into one of the openings through which supply leads connect to the supply terminals.
