Techniques for improving routing of natural language inputs, of a natural language processing (NLP) system, are described. A natural language input may be routed based on the device that captured the natural language input. A device manufacturer, hospitality provider, business, etc. may cause the NLP system to generate a skill component specific to the device manufacturer, hospitality provider, business, etc. Thereafter, when a natural language input is received from the device, the NLP system may route the natural language input to the device manufacturer-, hospitality provider-, business-, etc.-specific skill component for processing.

Natural language command routing

Systems and techniques are disclosed for progressive authorization of information. One of the methods includes obtaining information from a user device indicating a user identity of a user operating the user device, the user device being in communication with a content server. A confidence associated with the user identity of the user is determined. Requests from the content server for profile information associated with the user identity are responded to, such that authorization levels of requested profile information are determined to be satisfied based on the confidence. Upon a positive determination, use of the requested profile information is granted. Upon a negative determination, prompts for additional identifying information are provided on the user device.

Progressive authorization of information based on confidences of user identities

Systems and techniques are disclosed for vending machine authorization and customization based on confidences of user identities. One of the methods includes receiving identifying information for a user device, the identifying information being received in response to the user device being within a distance of a vending machine. The vending machine can include sensors that trigger the user device to provide identifying information. A portion of profile information is accessed, portion of profile information indicating a unique identifier assigned to the user device. The portion of profile information is provided to one or more servers that communicate with the vending machine over one or more networks. Preference in formation is displayed via a display of the vending machine, the preference information being maintained by servers and being associated with the unique identifier.
