A transport system, particularly for forming machines for cold forming or warm forming, has a holding rail with gripper devices which are each separately controlled by way of servomotors. The transmissions provided for the force transmission between the servomotor and the clamping jaws of the gripper device can be self-locking, but transmit independently thereof the rotating movement of the respective servomotor continuously to the clamping jaws which therefore swivel. For a better control or automatic control of the gripper devices, these transmissions can be provided with sensors for detecting the force and/or the position.

Parts transfer system

A press has a press plunger with an adjustable pressure piece. By way of an adjusting device, this pressure piece is supported on the remaining press plunger. A motor-operated tensioning device is additionally assigned to the motor-operated adjusting device. The adjusting device as well as the tensioning device are operated by force, that is, can be operated by corresponding drives. These are connected with a control device which coordinates the work of the adjusting device and of the tensioning device.

An adjusting plate ( ) for a transfer press ( ) has several individually adjustable tool mounting sites (bearing devices). An individually adjustable adjusting device ( ) is assigned to each mounting site ( ). Sensor devices ( ) provide an acknowledgment concerning the set adjusting position. The adjusting devices ( ) are also connected with individual blocking devices ( ). The adjustment and blocking take place by way of corresponding hydraulic drives ( ) or can take place manually.

Adjusting plate for a press

A press has a tool which comprises an upper tool part and a lower tool part. The upper tool part is held on the press slide, while the lower tool part is stationarily mounted in the press frame. A movable forming element, such as a shearing blade, is provided in the lower tool part. The press drive is used for driving the shearing blade. For this purpose, a hydraulic force transmitting device is provided in the lower tool part and is actuated by way of a pressure pin. For the actuation, the slide or an element fixedly connected with the slide is used, the slide, in turn, being driven by the press drive. A hydraulic force transmitting device in the lower tool part permits a liberal tool construction and an arrangement of corresponding force transmitting devices for the at least temporary coupling between the slide and the hydraulic force transmitting device at points which hinder neither the access to the tool nor the workpiece transfer.
