Certain embodiments of the invention provide a cationic lipid of formula (I): wherein R, R, Rand Rare defined as described herein, as well as methods of making these lipids. Certain embodiments of the invention also provide nucleic acid-lipid particles comprising a cationic lipid of formula (I), methods of making the lipid particles, and methods of delivering and/or administering the lipid particles.

Cationic lipids containing silicon

The invention provides certain nucleic acids (e.g., double stranded siRNA molecules), as well as conjugates that comprise a targeting moiety, a double stranded siRNA, and optional linking groups. Certain embodiments also provide synthetic methods useful for preparing the conjugates. The conjugates are useful to target therapeutic double stranded siRNA to the liver and to treat liver diseases including hepatitis (e.g. hepatitis B and hepatitis D).

Targeted compositions

The invention provides conjugates that comprise a targeting moiety, a nucleic acid, and optional linking groups as well as synthetic intermediates and synthetic methods useful for preparing the conjugates. The conjugates are useful to target therapeutic nucleic acids to the liver and to treat liver diseases including hepatitis (e.g. hepatitis B and hepatitis D).

Targeted nucleic acid conjugate compositions

The invention provides compositions for producing hydrogen rich water, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and other products. In one embodiment, the invention provides a composition, e.g., a tablet, including magnesium metal, at least one water-soluble acid, and a binding agent. The magnesium metal and at least one water-soluble acid may be present in amounts sufficient to maintain a pH of less than 7, e.g., at a specific time period after reaction, and a concentration of at least 0.5 mM Hafter reaction in 50 mL water in a container e.g., a sealed or an open container, e.g., at least 0.5 mM Hafter reaction in 100 mL water or at least 0.5 mM Hafter reaction in 500 mL water. The composition may also include a lubricant.

Composition for producing hydrogen rich water and other products

The present invention includes substituted pyridinone-containing tricyclic compounds, and compositions comprising the same, that can be used to treat or prevent hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in a patient. In certain embodiments, the compounds and compositions of the invention inhibit and/or reduce HBsAg secretion.

Methods and compounds effective in ameliorating conditions characterized by unwanted calcium channel activity, particularly unwanted T-type calcium channel activity are disclosed.
