In an aspect, a cockpit assembly is presented. A cockpit assembly includes at least a door. A cockpit assembly includes an inceptor stick. An inceptor stick includes a sheath movably connected thereon. An inceptor stick includes an actuator communicatively connected to a sheath. An actuator is configured to move a sheath between at least a door of a cockpit and an inceptor stick.

Cockpit assembly and a method for adjusting a cockpit

The present invention is directed to data communication. In a specific embodiment, a known data segment is received through a data communication link. The received data is equalized by an equalizer using an adjustable equalization parameter. The output of the equalizer is sampled, and a waveform is obtained by sweeping one or more sampler parameters. The waveform is evaluated by comparing it to the known data segment. Based on the quality of the waveform, equalizer parameter is determined. There are other embodiments as well.

Method and system for calibrating equalizers

A multiple format hand held label printer includes a processor, a memory, a keyboard, a thermal printer and an advance mechanism for a tape of successive labels carried on a substrate. The processor reads operator keyboard inputs and formats both machine readable bar code data and alphanumeric data for the printer. The printer is actuated to imprint such information on successive adhesive backed labels. In addition, the processor stores label print information and sequentially changes print indicia to meet particular requirements. The processor communicates with a system processor for coordinated inventory control, market study or other functions.

Multiple format hand held label printer

A system for testing video equipment includes a video cassette tape cassette which carries prerecorded test signals and patterns such as NTSC standard color bar test patterns, dot patterns, convergence patterns and the like. Playback of the video tape enables one to determine if a video player, recorder, television receiver or monitor is in need of adjustment and permits adjustments without complex test equipment. The test signals are recorded in segments at different speeds to test speed playback functions of the player or recorder and may include a visual countdown for synchronization of subsequent recording. To produce the video tape cassettes with the prerecorded test signals and patterns, a test pattern generator is utilized to provide a signal which is fed to a video recording head. The video recording head records the signals and patterns on a leader portion of each tape prior to loading into a cassette.
