A portable electronic device includes a main body, a protective foldable cover, a membrane keyboard and a folding means. The protective foldable cover is attached structurally in a foldable manner to the main body and further has a foldable leaf to cover the main body. The membrane keyboard is mounted to the foldable leaf by facing the main body and is connected signally with the main body. The folding means is to provide at least one stand state for the main body to stand on the foldable leaf of the protective foldable cover and thus to present the membrane keyboard completely to a position in front of the main body.

An alert device for use with an intravenous drip, comprises two induction ends and a control unit. The control unit comprises a circuit module, an alarm module and a power module. The two induction ends are located on a pipe of the intravenous drip and are contacting with an injection solution inside the pipe. The two induction ends are electrically connected to the control unit by wires. The circuit module detects the induction ends to determine whether the induction ends are in an open-loop status or not. The circuit module connects to the alarm module. The power module supplies power for the control unit. The induction ends uses the injection solution as a conducting means to form an electrically closed loop; when the induction ends do not contact with the injection solution, the induction ends become an open-loop, and thus the alarm module generates alarm signals.

Alert device for intravenous drip

A wireless input device comprises a plurality of RFID tag units and keys. Each RFID tag unit is coupled with two conductive wires. Only when the two conductive wires are in a closed-loop status, the RFID tag unit can generate a responsive RF signal corresponding to a scanning signal generated by a host device. Each key is formed with a switching mechanism connectable to the conductive wires of at least one of the RFID tag units. When any one of the keys is pressed, the conductive wires connectable to the pressed key will be switched to the closed-loop status from an open-loop status, and when that pressed key is released, the conductive wires connectable to the released key will be switched back to said open-loop status. Therefore, the wireless input device can be operated without the need of internal electric power.

An organism paracentesis device comprises a first tube member and a second tube member. The first tube member comprises an injection tube filled with a medicament, a piston and a first syringe needle. The second tube member comprises a sampling tube and a second syringe needle. Both ends of the second syringe needle are in the form of syringe needle. Using one end of the second syringe needle to penetrate a cover of the sampling tube which is vacuumed, such that the second syringe needle's the other end which is penetrating into an organism will extract a sample from the organism because of the vacuumed sampling tube. The medicament filled in the injection tube is ejected both when the first and second syringe needles are penetrating into and pulled out of the organism, so as to avoid the cells of sampled organism being spread to other places.

A hand-held electronic device having a rolled-up screen comprises a flexible screen which can be partially received within a casing by a reeling mechanism in such a manner that the displaying function can still be performed by the flexible screen partially exposed outside the casing. When the flexible screen is pulled out and entirely exposed outside of the casing, the entire flexible screen can be used for image-displaying. Thus, advantages in both the high displaying quality of a large screen and excellent portability of a small-sized hand-held electronic device can be attained.

A group wiring device which has built-in light emitting means and switch mechanism coupled with wire pair receptacle thereof. The switch mechanism is normally on a 'CLOSE' status but can be switched to an 'OPEN' status when a plug mates with the wire pair receptacle. When the switch mechanism is &#x201c;CLOSE&#x201d; and a testing voltage is applied to the circuit of the light emitting means, the light emitting means will emit light for assisting wire pair identification. After the process of wire pair identification is complete, the group wiring device is deemed to be in normal operation, that is, to perform ordinary signal transmitting functions. The wire pair receptacle will then be mated with plug of network cable so as to drive the switch mechanism to become &#x201c;OPEN&#x201d;. Therefore, the circuit of light emitting means becomes an open circuit and provides no function at all. As a result, the built-in light emitting means and switch mechanism of the present invention will not result in &#x201c;loop back shorting&#x201d; nor disrupt the communication at all.

Group wiring device for facilitating wire pair identification

A kit for identifying fiber optic connections in a fiber optic cabling system comprises a plurality of indication optic terminators and at least one test light generator. The fiber optic system comprises a patching device, a plurality of ports furnished on the patching device, a plurality of outlets remote from the patching device, and a plurality of fiber optic cables for optically connecting the ports and the outlets. Plurality of indication optic terminators are attached onto each of the ports of the patching device. By using the test light generator to apply a test light to one of the outlets, the test light reaches a corresponding connected port of the patching device through the connection of fiber optic cable so as to make the corresponding indication optic terminator attached onto that connected port to light. Therefore, by repeating the process of distinguishing the light of the indication optic terminator one by one, all of the fiber optic connections between the connected ports and outlets can be identified. After completing the job of fiber optic connection identification, all of the indication optic terminators can be detached and kept for re-use.

Fiber optic cable identification kit and its method

A group wiring patching device which has built-in light emitting device and filtering device coupled with wire pair receptacle thereof. When a testing voltage is applied to the circuit of the light emitting device, the light emitting device will emit light for assisting wire pair identification. The filtering device can minimize or even eliminate loop back shorting resulted by the circuit of the connected light emitting when communication signals or low voltage signals being applied thereto. Therefore, the group wiring patching device of the present invention will be able to perform ordinary signal transmitting functions without the need to remove the light emitting device after the wire pair identification process is done.

Group wiring patching system and method for wire pair identification

A portable computer includes: a main body having keyboard formed thereon, a cover pivotally secured to the main body and operatively covering the main body, a liquid crystal display panel formed on the cover, a backlight cartridge having a backlight and a light diffusion plate normally positioned under the liquid crystal display panel for illuminating the liquid crystal display (LCD) panel for normally displaying the image on the LCD panel, a bottom projection cartridge alternatively substituting the backlight cartridge and positioned under the LCD panel when adapted for overhead projection purpose, a supporting device pivotally secured and normally folded on the cover (or on the main body) and operatively telescopically extended from the cover (or from the main body) to be uprightly erected on the cover (or the main body), and an overhead projection cartridge detachably mounted on the supporting device for projecting light towards the bottom projection cartridge, through which the light is then reflected and magnified upwardly through the LCD panel for projecting the image of the LCD panel upwardly to be magnified and reflected towards a screen through the overhead projection cartridge, thereby providing a compact combination of a portable computer with an overhead projection device for convenient handling and uses.
