A dosing bottle closure () has a body () and a lid (). The body () has: a sidewall () extending from a lower rim () to an upper rim (); and means () along the sidewall () for engaging a container body (). The lid () is hinged relative to the body for articulation between a closed condition and an open condition. The body defines an internal upwardly open chamber () at least partially covered by the lid in the closed condition. The body defines a feed passageway () having an outlet () to the chamber () and spaced above a bottom () of the chamber and defines a vent conduit ().

Dispenser and methods

A chamber body is mounted to the bottle body and has an opening and partially bounds a first chamber and a second chamber. A selector is mounted to the chamber body for relative rotation between a first dosing condition and a second dosing condition. In the first dosing condition: flow is not blocked from the first chamber out the opening; flow is blocked from the second chamber out the opening; flow is blocked from the bottle interior to the first chamber; and flow is not blocked from the bottle interior to the second chamber. In the second dosing condition: flow is blocked from the first chamber out the opening; flow is not blocked from the second chamber out the opening; flow is not blocked from the bottle interior to the first chamber; and flow is blocked from the bottle interior to the second chamber.

A chamber member is mounted to a bottle body and has an opening and partially bounds a first chamber and a second chamber. A selector is mounted to the chamber body for relative rotation between a first dosing condition and a second dosing condition. In the first dosing condition: flow is not blocked from the first chamber out the opening; flow is blocked from the second chamber out the opening; flow is blocked from the bottle interior to the first chamber; and flow is not blocked from the bottle interior to the second chamber. In the second dosing condition: flow is blocked from the first chamber out the opening; flow is not blocked from the second chamber out the opening; flow is not blocked from the bottle interior to the first chamber; and flow is blocked from the bottle interior to the second chamber.

A sealing push-button lid for consumer wipes is disclosed. The lid may be used to seal a package of wipes for infant care, and may also be used for sealing and dispensing of one-at-a-time wipes for general cleaning purposes. The lid makes it easy for a busy person to use a single hand to pop open the lid in order to grasp and dispense the next wipe in a series of Z-folded wipes or inner-folded wipes in a preferably soft and flexible container. Containers with the push button lid may also be used with wipes that are folded in other ways. The lid is formed as one piece or two pieces, the pieces joined by a hinge that allows movement of the lid top with respect to the lid bottom. The lid is designed for easy joining and sealing to a container, preferably by a bead of hot melt adhesive or adhesive strips.

A strap winder includes a base having a first strap end connecting structure; a ratchet wheel rotatably mounted in the base and having a second strap end connecting structure; and a handle pivotably mounted to the base and preferably engaging the ratchet member so that pivot of the handle in an opening movement, wherein the handle is moved away from the base, does not rotate the ratchet wheel, and wherein pivot of the handle in a closing movement, wherein the handle is moved toward the base, rotates the ratchet wheel. The strap winder is preferably made at least partially from plastic, and has characteristics which facilitate injection molding.

A product dispenser including a body housing defining a product cavity for holding a product, a piston movably disposed within the product cavity and a ram assembly aligned with the piston, the ram assembly being adjustable between a storage position for engaging the piston at a storage height and a dispensing position for engaging the piston at a dispensing height, the dispensing height being larger than the storage height.

A product dispenser includes a housing defining an inner space for a product; a piston member movably disposed in the inner space for dispensing product from the inner space; a ram slidably associated with the housing for driving the piston in the inner space, and movable relative to the housing between an active position wherein the ram is aligned with the piston for dispensing product, and a neutral position wherein the ram is not aligned with the piston whereby the ram in the neutral position is slidable relative to the housing without dispensing product.

The present invention relates to an improved drinking cup. The drinking cup includes a bottom portion and a sidewall portion integrally formed therewith. The sidewall portion defines a liquid holding cavity and has an upper peripheral edge which defines an opening through which a liquid can be placed within and withdrawn from the liquid holding cavity. The drinking cup further includes a laterally extending handle attached to the sidewall portion. The handle has an upper thumb rest portion including a raised portion for preventing a user's thumb from contacting the sidewall portion and inadvertently dislodging a lid placed over the opening. A lid for cooperating with the cup is also disclosed.

A dispenser-applicator having an elevator for advancing product disposed within a housing having opposed, through sidewall slots. The slots are formed with ratchets and the elevator is actuated by a driver extending through and guided by said slots. The driver is formed with pawls which engage the ratchets so that the elevator can be indexed manually in step by step fashion.

A product dispenser includes a housing defining an inner space for a product; a piston movably disposed in the inner space for dispensing product from the inner space; a ram slidably mounted to the housing for driving the piston in the inner space, and rotatable relative to the housing between an active position wherein the ram is aligned with the piston for dispensing product, and a neutral position wherein the ram is not aligned with the piston whereby the ram in the neutral position is slidable relative to the housing without dispensing product.

A product dispenser includes a cartridge containing a product; a housing having a base member and a cartridge receiving member movably mounted to the base member between a shipping position wherein the cartridge receiving member is substantially extended from the base member, and a use position wherein the cartridge receiving member is at least partially retracted relative to the base member from the shipping position, the cartridge receiving member having a sidewall defining an interior space for receiving the cartridge; an access defined by the sidewall for installing and removing the cartridge in the interior space; structure associated with the housing for dispensing the product from the cartridge; and structure for resisting dispensing motion of the cartridge receiving member relative to the base member from the shipping position toward the use position.
