A single lever control facilitating engagement of the speed and range transmission of an agricultural tractor comprising a handle lever initially engaging range gears and subsequently variable speed transmission when moved in one direction and engaging reverse speed when moved in the opposite direction.

Transmission control assembly

A park lock interlock assembly prevents shifting of a vehicle transmission, while a vehicle park lock is engaged, by virtue of an interlock rod block insertion into an interlock rod aperture, when the transmission is in a neutral position.

Park lock and transmission interlock

A multi-directional single lever control for a transmission with at least two modes of operation comprises two juxtaposed sets of speeds correlating to these modes. The shift lever pivoting with a lever mount in one direction engages speeds working in one mode and pivoting about the lever mount selectively engages oppositely aligned speeds in either mode of operation. A switch actuated by the shift lever rotation about the mount lever controls, a valve assembly for rerouting fluid flow into passages corresponding to a selected mode of operation.

Multi-directional single lever control for transmissions

A tractor vehicle transmission is provided with a two piston brake where each piston operates in opposite directions. A pair of gears are spaced apart and the brake resides between them. Thus upon actualization the brake will contact each gear causing retardation of the gear, its attendant shaft, and the transmission as a whole allowing simpler shifting of the transmission.
