A multiple level elevating cot adapted to be rolled into emergency vehicles, the cot having a wheeled undercarriage supporting a cot frame having a leading end and a trailing end, The leading end comprises a drop frame adapted to be positionable in extended, middle, collapsed, and lengthened positions. Leg members interconnect the cot frame and the undercarriage. A latching device is adapted to selectively secure the leg members in a plurality of elevational positions. The cot further comprises a pair of sidearm supports provided to the cot frame between the leading end and the trailing end, each of the sidearm supports being adapted to be positionable in vertically-up, vertically-down, substantially horizontal, and folded positions relative to the cot frame.

Multiple level roll-in cot

A multiple level elevating cot adapted to be rolled into emergency vehicles, the cot having a wheeled undercarriage supporting a cot frame having a leading end and a trailing end, and adapted to selectively secure the cot frame in a plurality of elevational positions. The cot frame includes a pair of side extension arms provided between the leading end and the trailing end, each of the side extension arms being adapted to slidably extend outwardly from a stowed position adjacent the cot frame to an extended position substantially perpendicular to the cot frame. The cot further includes a drop frame that may be lengthened and sidearm supports positionable in vertically-up, vertically-down, substantially horizontal, and a folded position relative to the cot frame. The cot frame may form a part of an integral stretcher or may serve as a carrier to which a separable top structure mounts.

A multiple level elevating cot adapted to be rolled into emergency vehicles having different floor heights, the cot having a wheeled undercarriage mounting sets of cross-forming members in which the pivot points of the cross-forming members are offset with respect to their points of intersection and at least one of each set of cross-forming members is telescopic, the cross-forming members, when in the fully elevated position, acting to incline upwardly the forward end of a cot frame mounted on the upper ends of the cross-forming members, the cot frame mounting retractable loading wheels at its forward end. The cot frame may form a part of an integral stretcher or may serve as a carrier to which a separable top structure, such as a stretcher/stair chair, may be detachably secured, the cot frame including seats for slidably receiving the top structure and latching means for securing the top structure to the cot frame.

A high deck multi-level ambulance cart. An upper frame forming a bed is supported above a lower frame, having wheels, by forward and rearward legs. The upper frame supports a longitudinal beam. High deck ambulance cart

A cart having a frame, four depending legs adapted to swing rearwardly to a collapsed position, releasable means bracing said legs, an operator for actuating said releasable means, a platform mounted on said frame adapted to move between an extended and a retracted position, auxiliary wheels on the forward end of said platform, and a lock for maintaining said platform in either of its positions.

A cart having a bed with auxiliary wheels on the front end, front and rear legs depending from the bed and pivotally mounted to the bed, means for shifting the front legs to elevate the front of the cart so that it can be thrust into an ambulance with a high deck with the auxiliary wheels rolling on the deck and the front and rear legs swinging rearwardly to a collapsed condition. The front legs are also adapted to swing in the forward direction while the rear legs swing rearwardly in order to change the level of the cart when it is in a horizontal attitude.

Cart for high deck ambulances

An ambulance cart having a bed from which four legs depend. The legs are adapted to swing away from each other to lower the level of the cart. An extensible frame is mounted at the lower ends of the legs, and casters adapted to swivel about vertical axes are attached to the frame so that as the legs are spread apart the frame enables the casters to maintain the vertical orientation of their swivel axes. Both forward and rearward legs are also adapted to swing rearwardly to enable the cart to be thrust into a vehicle.
