A computer implemented method includes storing generated digital media created by each portal server of a plurality of portal servers in a destination accessible by at least one of a plurality of HTTPD servers in response to a request for web content including the generated digital media. Additionally, the method includes determining that a subsequent request for digital media received by an HTTPD server of the plurality of HTTPD servers is for generated digital media created by any of the plurality of portal servers in the destination and accessible by the HTTPD server. Furthermore, the method includes serving the generated digital media from the HTTPD server to a browser.

System and method of optimizing digital media processing in a carrier grade web portal environment

An improved solution for managing structured data, and in particular generating compressed data based on the structured data. A schema that defines the structure of the data is used to generate a dictionary. The dictionary includes a set of dictionary entries, each configured to generate compressed data for a corresponding pattern defined by the schema. Additional compression can be implemented based on the structured data itself. The compressed data can be communicated between systems to reduce transmission time.

Method, system and program product for managing structured data

A rail car sensor network, in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, includes at least one rail car having a main body portion including a first and section, a second end section and an intermediate portion. The rail car network further includes a sensor assembly mounted to the rail car. The sensor assembly includes at least one sensor positioned to detect a rail car parameter, and a wireless communication device configured to transmit data corresponding to the rail car parameter. A receiver assembly, mounted remote from the at least one rail car, includes a wireless communication monitor configured to receive the data corresponding to the rail car parameter from the wireless communication device.

A spaghetti fork and separator system comprising a fork having a plurality of essentially parallel prongs at the lower end and an elongated handle at the upper end; a plunger having a post in a linear configuration extending generally parallel to the handle of the fork and having a lower end and an upper end, the upper end being bent from the post and constituting a reciprocation member for being grasped by the user for moving the post and plunger in a linear manner parallel with the handle; a separator having struts extending upwardly from the upper end to the lower end of the post; and a guide adapted to encompass the post for guiding the motion of the fork and plunger with respect to each other when the post and separator are pulled by the reciprocation member to allow the prongs of the fork to be exposed for twirling spaghetti and when the post and separator are pushed by the reciprocation member to allow the separator to separate the spaghetti strands from the spaghetti twirled on the prongs of the fork.

A novel two part punch stripper (10) for use with punches (12) carried by a punch press (16). The novel two part urethane punch stripper of this invention includes generally cylindrical concentric tubular upper and lower parts (50 and 52). The lower part (52) is formed of a urethane of a conventional hardness for a punch stripper, the hardness being in the range of 80A to 100A (Shore). The tubular upper part (50) is formed of a urethane substantially harder than the lower part of the stripper, for example, in the range of 75D (Shore). The combined length of the upper and lower parts is greater than the length of the portion of the punch which extends below the punch retainer assembly (14) so that a proper preload can be achieved. The upper part and lower parts are bonded to each other by a suitable adhesive. Alternatively, they may be bonded to each other by sequentially casting in a common mold.

Two part urethane punch stripper

The composite tool includes a relatively soft support, such as a tool steel body, and a relatively hard working portion, such as a carbide, which is firmly mounted within the support in such a manner that axial and radial shocks are dampened.
