A package for holding a food product. The package comprises a tray comprising a plurality of tray panels that extend at least partially around an interior of the tray. The plurality of tray panels comprise a tray central panel and at least one tray side panel foldably connected to the tray central panel. The package also comprises a lid comprising a plurality of lid panels that extend at least partially around an interior of the lid. The plurality of lid panels comprise a lid central panel and at least one lid side panel foldably connected to the lid central panel. The lid cooperates with the tray to at least partially close the package when the package is configured in a closed position and a venting position. Venting features are operable to vent the package when the package is configured in the venting position.

A cylindrical tubular canister package has a body and ends. A tear-away strip is formed in the body by a pair of spaced partial cuts on the outside of the body. A thin strip of tear tape is secured to the inside of the body underlying and extending along the tear-away strip. A tab is formed at one end of the tear away strip. The canister package is opened by grasping the tab and pulling away from the canister body, which causes the tear-away strip to be severed from the body to open up the canister. The strip may extend axially, circumferentially, spirally, or otherwise along the canister body.

A blank, carton, or package that includes a dispensing flap is described. The dispensing flap is formed in an end flap and covers an opening formed in another end flap when the carton is formed. The dispensing flap is detachable along a pattern of tear lines and the dispensing flap can be hinged to expose the opening and allow contents of the carton to be dispensed from the opening. A tear tab can be included to initiate detachment of the dispensing flap along the tear line pattern. A hanging flap can be provided to hang the carton from a vertical surface. End flaps and tuck-in flaps can be provided at a first end and a second end of the blank to secure the ends of the carton.

A carton includes opposite top and bottom end panels, and side panels extending between the top and bottom end panels. The side panels may at least partially define first, second and third openings. The first, second and third openings may be spaced apart from one another around the interior space of the carton. A container may simultaneously be both within the interior space of the carton, and projecting outwardly from the interior space of the carton through each of the first, second and third openings.

Carton for receiving and displaying contents

A container constructed from a blank of foldable sheet material is provided. The container includes a shell having at least one side wall, a bottom wall, and at least one opening defined through the at least one side wall. The at least one side wall having an interior surface and an exterior surface. The container also includes a liner having an interior surface and an exterior surface. The liner includes at least one light source coupled to the exterior surface of the liner. The liner is coupled to the shell. At least a portion of the exterior surface of the liner is adjacent to the interior surface of the shell, and the at least one light source is aligned with the at least one opening for emitting light therethrough.

A bundle pack includes a tray having a bottom, a sidewall, and a tray longitudinal axis. A plurality of packaged products disposed in the tray and the packaged products each having a product longitudinal axis and a product transverse axis. The plurality of packaged products is each disposed at an angle in the tray such that each product longitudinal axis forms a product angle &#x3b1; with the tray longitudinal axis.

A product comprising an absorbent paper material and a dispenser adapted to hanging from a support such as a towel bar or a hook is disclosed. The dispenser can be optionally located on a surface instead of hung from a support, and a space at the bottom of the dispenser protects the absorbent paper material from damage due to liquid spills on the surface. The dispenser has an advantage of two distinct dispensing modes, and protection of the unused absorbent paper material from liquid spills.

Optionally hangable container and dispensing method

A product comprising an absorbent paper material and a container for use as a dispenser, which is adapted to hanging from a support member, such as a towel bar, is disclosed. The container can be optionally located on a surface, such as a counter top, and used as a dispenser. This provides the container with two different dispensing modes. The container has a hanger member integral with the container on one end, and the hanger member is attachable to the container in at least two separate positions. The hanger member is also adapted to covering at least a portion of the absorbent paper material exposed by an opening into the container prior to hanging the container.
