The disclosure specifies a circuit arrangement having electronic first components arranged on a circuit board and lying at high-voltage potential. The circuit arrangement includes functionless, electronic second components lying at high-voltage potential, which are arranged on the circuit board adjacent to the electronic first components, and configured to reduce the maximum electrical field strength between the first components and a reference potential and/or between pads of the circuit board and the reference potential. Through the additional, functionless components, the maximum electrical field strength between electronic components at high voltage and at a reference potential will be reduced. The disclosure also specifies a high voltage generation unit and an x-ray generator.

A high-voltage measurement divider for an X-ray tube is provided. The high-voltage measurement divider includes a ground connection, a high-voltage connection, a measuring tap, and divider modules of substantial identical design apart from the circuitry. Each of the divider modules has a first connection, a second connection, a resistor board, and at least one flat potential electrode. The divider modules are connected at corresponding connections in series between the ground connection and the high-voltage connection. At least one division stage is formed by each of the divider modules, and a first division stage is formed between the measuring tap and the ground connection.

An X-ray tube includes a vacuum-filled housing and an anode contained in the vacuum-filled housing. The anode is operable to produce an X-ray beam based on electrons emitted from a cathode and attracted by a high voltage applied to the anode. The X-ray tube also includes a high-voltage power line introduced from an external side of the housing for supplying the anode with a high-voltage potential. The X-ray tube includes an electrical feed for electrically insulating the high-voltage power line from the housing. The electrical feed in the X-ray tube includes at least two insulating layers radially between the high-voltage power line and the housing. The at least two insulating layers are separated from one another by a metallic coating.

The present embodiments related to a device having a device element to which a high voltage can be applied. The device is provided with at least one additional conducting element which is disposed, embodied and connected in such a way that the element is assigned a defined potential value and a change to the electric field generated by the high voltage in the sense of a more favorable field distribution is effected by means of position, shape and potential value. According to the invention, maximum loads on switching elements are avoided and undesirable phenomena such as voltage breakdowns or flow voltages are counteracted as a result of the more favorable field distribution.

Potential control for high-voltage devices

A housing comprising a liquid-tight electric bushing is provided. The housing comprises an opening and a printed circuit board comprising at least first and second layers. The first layer is a top side of the printed circuit board and spans the opening. A first contact element is disposed on the top side and in a blind bore through the first layer that extends to the second layer. The second layer is a conductor track in the interior of the printed circuit board.

A high-voltage generator for high d.c. voltages, particularly for feeding an x-ray tube has secondary windings applied by a printed technique on printed circuit boards that are held at a common printed circuit board, and which are interconnected thereto in printed technique with components for producing the high-voltage.

A radiator has an x-ray tube disposed in a coolant-filled housing formed by a tank and an insertable closure for the tank. The x-ray tube is provided with an asymmetrical cooling member disposed in the region of a heat exchanger. Guides are provided which effect circulation of the coolant heated at the cooling member and cooled in the heat exchanger. The coolant circulation is promoted by superimposing thermal convection in the coolant, thermal conduction in the asymmetrical cooling member, and heat flow induced by the electrical fields which are present during the normal operation of the radiator. The result is that the surface temperature of the entire x-ray radiator is substantially the same, independently of the orientation of the radiator.
