An adjustable locking assembly, including a strap lock including a clamping element, a locking strap including a first end connected to the strap lock and a second end connected to a locking pin, and a pin locking element including a pivoting latch, the pivoting latch including a channel arranged to receive the locking pin, wherein in a locked position, the locking pin is secured in the channel and the pivoting latch is pivoted away from the strap lock, and in an unlocked position, the locking strap is freely movable.

Universal nozzle connector with an adjustable mount

A toolbox device for allowing a user to charge a battery pack of a battery-powered tool. The device features a first half housing pivotally attached atop a second half housing with an inner compartment, the second half housing is longer than the first half housing thereby exposing a top area of the second half housing with a battery pack compartment. An AC-DC converter unit is operatively connected to contact strips disposed on the inner surface of the battery pack compartment. A male power plug is operatively connected to the AC/DC converter unit, the male power plug is adapted to receive a power cord for a standard power outlet. A charger component for accepting a battery pack is adapted to be inserted into the battery pack compartment. When inserted into the battery pack compartment, the interchangeable charger component operatively connects to the contact strips.

A mechanism for gripping an article including a housing, a piston slidably housed within the housing, a plunger slidably housed within the housing, wherein the plunger is at least partially extendable out from the housing, the plunger including a gripping surface, at least one spring operatively arranged between the piston and the plunger for relating a change of a position of the piston to the plunger, and a cam eccentrically rotatable about an axis and operatively engaged with the piston for setting the position of the piston.

A recreational vehicle slide out roof block prevents foreign material such as water, dirt, or debris from accumulating on a recreational vehicle slide out roof. A slide out roof block has a size and shape selected to fill a gap between a slide out roof and an awning sheet extending over the slide out roof. Embodiments of a slide out roof block comprise a compressible bolster having a rain flap along a bottom edge of a front side. The bolster includes a block of compressible polymer foam in some embodiments. One or more pole sleeves may optionally be attached to the front side of the bolster. A pole inserted into a pole sleeve may be used to install or retrieve a slide out roof block. Some embodiments have an airtight cover and a valve, enabling a slide out roof block to be compressed for storage and reinflated for installation.

Impact resistant storage of cylinders in a cylinder holder having a body, means to contain the cylinder longitudinally and means to resiliently position the cylinder laterally. The body has a cavity to receive the cylinder. The cavity has a longitudinal central axis generally corresponding to a longitudinal axis of the cylinder. The means to contain the cylinder longitudinally provides for a resilient containment of the cylinder within the cavity during periods of longitudinal stress. The means to position the cylinder laterally provides for a resilient positioning of the cylinder within the cavity wherein the longitudinal axis of the cylinder may move laterally within a three hundred and sixty (360) degree radial range away from the longitudinal central axis of the cavity during periods of lateral stress and return generally to the longitudinal central axis of the cavity following termination of the lateral stress.

Cabinets are formed with a first chamber defined by end joined lengths of a first extrusion, a first chamber outer end closure and a first chamber inner end closure, which may include a second chamber defined by end joined lengths of a second extrusion edge interfitted with lengths of the first extrusion. Two or more cabinets may be combined to form a module. In a preferred construction adapted for use in fabricating a utility vehicle, such as a fire truck, a module includes two or more cabinets removably joined to a common walkway arranged to bridge across the cabinets.

A handle mounted adjacent one end of a centrally bored body when squeezed toward the body turns a stem through about 22.degree.. The interior of the stem is cut away so that all that remains is a 90.degree. sector which functions as a cam. On the opposite end of the body is an inlet port. A reciprocable actuator has a seat at one end which is biased to close the inlet port. The opposite end of the actuator engages the cam. Vanes on the actuator center the actuator relative to the bore of the body and permit fluid to pass from the port past the stem when the handle is depressed. When the handle is up, the cam is positioned so that the end of the actuator moves forward by spring and water pressure force to close the valve. When the handle is depressed, the cam turns to force the stem back to unseat the valve and because the stem is cut away for approximately 270.degree., fluid flows around the stem and out of the discharge port.

Squeeze grip valve

A construction for a fire engine body or the like including a body and a rotatable tower mounted on the body, and a continuous wiring connection between the body and the rotatable tower including a large diameter drum mounting a wire ribbon which extends onto a small diameter drum rotatable with the tower whereby multiple rotations of the small drum can be experienced for each rotation of the large drum to thereby permit a continuous wire to extend between the body and the rotatable tower, and a signal arrangement for indicating the amount the tower has rotated from a neutral position.

A boom carrying vehicle such as a fire engine having an extremely high-strength, low-weight frame including a chassis having front and rear wheels, a cab mounted proximate said front wheels, a turntable mounted proximate said rear wheels, a boom mounted on said turntable, an engine mounted on said chassis immediately forward of said rear wheels, said chassis being fabricated from a plurality of box sections extending lengthwise of the vehicle and a cross box section connecting the lengthwise box sections in the area of the rear axle so as to provide high torque resistance to the chassis both when it is being driven and when it is stationary with the boom in operation, a control panel and an operator platform located between the engine and the cab, and a fan assembly for directing air heated by the engine toward the control panel to prevent freezing thereof in cold weather.
