A mixing and dispensing syringe having a single mixing cylinder loadable at one end with a plurality of different materials to be blended and mixed by static devices, a dispensing nozzel on the opposite end of said cylinder, a piston-like unit axially movable in the cylinder between opposite ends thereof by means of a manually-operable member connected to one end of the unit, whereby, when the unit is positioned nearest the nozzle in the cylinder and the cylinder is loaded with the materials to be mixed, movement of the unit toward the loadable end of the cylinder causes the materials to pass through a mixing device in the unit and into a common chamber or barrel of the syringe to effect partial mixing and when the unit next is moved toward the nozzle by the manual member, the partially mixed materials then pass through the static mixing device in the nozzle and are further mixed incident to being discharged from the syringe.

A multiple, metered dosage device having an elongated body provided adjacent one end with a compartment or an ampule to contain material to be dispensed, a piston movable against the material to discharge it from a nozzle, a rod-like plunger movable by a pressure device against the piston to discharge material and a combination stop and release unit movable intermediately of the ends of the body between depressed and elevated positions respectively to engage a pair of racks of teeth on the plunger and including first and second teeth respectively engageable with the racks of teeth sequentially to permit the pressure device to advance the plunger and piston in similar metered, precise or predetermined increments of feeding in discharge direction and then stop the feeding movement and maintain such stopped position until the stop and release unit next is depressed.

A dispenser for flowable material having a squeezable container formed with filling and discharge openings at opposite ends, a combination handle and closure member connectable to the filling opening, and a flexible discharge spout and second closure member being connectable selectively to the discharge opening of said container, the connections all having snap-acting co-engaging members and the discharge spout being elongated and flexible and of uniform very small diameter to control discharge of precise amounts of material directed to desired locations of use by an operator holding the dispenser pen-like in one hand.

A combination capsule adapted to both mix a plurality of ingredients to prepare them for use and then extrude the same through a nozzle attachable to one end of the capsule which comprises a pair of reciprocal sleeves respectively having compartments to contain different ingredients confined therein prior to the ingredients being brought into contact and the capusle being arranged to cause the ingredients to be brought together by pushing one sleeve into the other to rupture a membrane in the latter, whereby the ingredients may be agitated to mix them, followed by exchanging a cap on the outer end of the inner sleeve for an attachable nozzle and the outer end of the outer sleeve being closed by a closure having a flangible section adapted to be pushed into the sleeve and serve as a plunger to effect removal of the mixed ingredients through the nozzle.

Dental mixing and extrusion capsule

A manually operable ejector holder for effecting discharge of a capsule-like cartridge of cylindrical shape open at one end to receive a measured charge of material and provided with an annular flange at the open end, the other end being closed but provided with an angular discharge nipple and the holder having a cylindrical body provided with an ejecting plunger operated by a handle and a cooperative pivoted lever member. The forward end of the cylindrical body is partially cutaway in a radial direction for a limited distance longitudinally to provide a hollow seat to receive the flanged end of the cartridge and the seat having an undercut groove to receive the flange of said cartridge, and the sidewalls of the seat at the upper edges having limited flexibility and spaced apart a slightly less distance than the diameter of the cartridge body to effect a limited snap-acting connection of the cartridge to the holder. Several embodiments of lever members and support mechanism therefor are provided.

Ejector holder for capsule-like cartridge

A manually operable ejector holder for a loaded capsule-like cartridge of cylindrical shape open at one end and provided with an annular flange at the open end, the other end being closed but provided with an angular discharge nipple and the holder having a cylindrical body provided with an ejecting plunger operated by a pivoted lever-type handle member.
