Provided is a plug for changing an operating condition of an electric motor. The plug includes at least one electrical contact. A support structure includes at least one electrical contact. The plug is electrically connectable to the support structure in at least first and second positions in which at least one plug electrical contact engages at least one support structure electrical contact. The plug and the support structure engage each other independently of the electrical connection between the electrical contacts. The independent engagement means ensures that the plug may only be positioned in a predetermined number of suitable positions and may not be positioned in an unacceptable position which the plug would be positionable absent the independent engagement means. Indicating means are provided to further ensure that the proper electrical connection is made depending on the desired operating condition of the electric motor.

A motor-pump unit includes a first mounting leg member at the interconnection of the motor and the pump and an outer multiple releasable outer mounting leg member at the outer end of the motor. The releasable leg member permits mounting with spaced supports under the motor or by removing of the outer leg cantilevered motor. The first leg member has a U-shaped base secured to the pump and extended beneath the motor frame adjacent the pump with circumferential spaced depending legs. An extended outer frame of the motor frame has an end notch in the bottom wall portion and the outer leg member has a mounting plate with an edge recess telescoped into the edge of the notch. An end cap has a projection extended into the opposed recess in the plate. The outer leg member has a single depending leg to define a three point mounting of the motor-pump unit. The outer leg member is removed for a cantilevered support and a closure plate is clamped into the notch to close the opening. The outer leg member is also shown bolted to the outer end of the motor.

Mounting support for motor-pump unit

A laminated stator assembly for an electric motor includes plate laminations which have square-trimmed edge segments separated by circular peripheral edge sectors, which plates are randomly oriented in assembling the stator to provide a generally cylindrical outer surface. In this manner, the stator can be enclosed in and supported by an outer motor shell or housing which is substantially thinner and less expensive. The stator assembly of the present invention enjoys the material savings and enhanced air cooling characteristics of prior art stator constructions utilizing square-trimmed laminations, but eliminates the detrimental aspects of difficult alignment and heavier motor housings. In addition, overall stator assembly is substantially simplified.

A pair of support members are arranged for mounting on the floor of a vehicle cargo area and support a cargo box by rollers for movement between forward and rearward positions to provide easy access for loading and unloading the box at the rear of the cargo area. The support members and box have engaging latch portions providing latching notches for the box in forward, rearward and intermediate positions. Front and rear vertical axis rollers are provided on the box and support members, respectively, and have engagement with the other of the box and support members to provide a non-binding lateral stability. Also, longitudinally adjustable abutment means are provided to hold the box in a non-rattling forward latched position.

Combination access box and bed liner for vehicles

A pair of support members are arranged for mounting on the floor of a vehicle cargo area and support a cargo box by rollers for movement between forward and rearward positions to provide easy access for loading and unloading the box at the rear of the cargo area. The support members and box have engaging latch portions providing latching stops for the box in forward, rearward and intermediate positions. The rearward end of the box is open and is arranged to be closed by the rear door of the vehicle cargo area. Roller support of the box is such that it has a cantilevered support in its rearwardmost position which is horizontal and in alignment with its line of travel. The box has reinforcement therearound so as to hold cargo and also serves as a liner to protect the cargo area.
