A ladder step attachment made of a single, unitary piece of extruded aluminum having no moving parts. The attachment has a horizontal standing surface improved with a gripping surface, the standing surface having two notches for engaging the rails of a ladder and extending partially between the ladder rails. A lip connected to the standing surface presents a resilient member to abut the back side of the rung. A substantially tube-shaped support has a tube wall. One part of the tube wall shares a portion of the standing surface and another part of the tube wall engages the ladder's rails. A bend at the top of the rail engaging tube wall separates that portion of the tube wall from a substantially vertical portion of tube wall above the bend to facilitate removal.

Ladder step attachment device

A method and compositions for detecting autoimmunity to islet glucose-6-phosphatase related protein (IGRP). Detection of IGRP autoantibodies alone, and in combination with other molecules such as the 65-kDa form of glutamate decarboxylase (GAD), insulin and insulin granule membrane proteins ICA512 (IA-2) and phogrin (IA2&#x3b2;) auto-antigens, provides an effective and reliable chemical assay for the diagnosis of autoimmune (type 1) diabetes. Additionally, this invention provides therapeutic regimens based on IGRP and related molecules for the amelioration of the diabetic clinical condition. Therefore, IGRP alone or in combination with other autioimmune diabetes associated antigens such as insulin, IA-2 and GAD, is useful in the prediction (diagnosis), treatment (therapy), and prevention (prophylaxis) of diabetes.

Use of islet glucose-6-phosphatase related protein as a diagnostic tool and therapeutic target for autoimmune diabetes

A grout cleaning brush comprising a long narrow brush assembly, an elongate handle and a structure for pivotally attaching a lower end of the elongate handle centrally to the long narrow brush assembly. The elongate handle can rotate on the brush assembly to keep the brush assembly level to a floor or wall, as the brush assembly slides back and forth in a grout groove between ceramic tiles during a cleaning operation.

A device to assist someone, such as a parent, in teaching a child to ride a bicycle. The device is a strap to be worn around the child's chest and extending around the back which can be fastened by way of velcro, buckles, or any other well-known fastening device. Two smaller or thinner straps are then attached to the main belt in the back which extend across the back of the belt and terminate in the middle in a ring or handle which can be grasped by the riding instructor. Such a device allows the teacher or instructor to hold the child itself rather then the bicycle and if the bicycle begins to fall it can be let go safely while holding onto the child.
