A folding chair includes handle frames and front and rear legs configured to support the chair in an upright position. The front legs are pivotally attached to the rear legs. The folding chair also includes a footrest positioned between the two front legs. The footrest includes base portions attached to the two front legs and raised portions positioned between the base portions. The slots in the raised portions allow the raised portions to move with respect to the base portions. The footrest is folded as the folding chair is folded.

A folding chair includes handle frames, and front legs and rear legs configured to support the chair in an upright position. The front legs are pivotally attached to respective rear legs. A chair portion, includes a back rest, a seat, and a leg rest pivotally attached to the seat. Pivot frames are pivotally attached to respective handle frames, the back rest, and the rear legs. Sliders are pivotally attached to respective pivot frames, the back rest, respective arm rests, and the seat, and are configured to slide along the front legs.

A self-clamping Christmas tree stand provides a stable platform for a Christmas tree that allows simple installation and adjustment of the tree angle without having to be positioned under the tree to perform the adjustments. The tree stand uses the weight of the tree to firmly clamp the tree's trunk. A clamping mechanism provides a constant grip that will not loosen unless an upward force is provided by the user. The adjustment range of the tree trunk angle with respect to the vertical plane may be varied to accommodate tree trunks of different shapes. Lastly, the tree stand includes a large liquid reservoir to maintain the tree's moisture content.

A child car seat is designed for attachment to an automobile seat. The child car seat includes two sets of restraining guides through which a belt is threaded to install the child car seat to the automobile seat. One set of restraining guides is for positioning the child car seat to the automobile seat in a forward-facing orientation, and another set is for a rearward-facing orientation. The installation belt has two ends and an intermediate region extending between the ends. A length adjustor is engaged to the intermediate region, and a fastener is attached to each belt end. Each fastener detachably connects to cooperating devices on an automobile seat.

A juvenile crib frame includes first and second frame portions and a lock mechanism including a first member mounted for rotation on the first frame portion about a first axis and a second member mounted for rotation on the second frame portion about a second axis. The lock mechanism further includes a hinge pin arranged to couple the first member to the second member to cause the first member to pivot relative to the second member about a pivot axis that is perpendicular to at least one of the first and second axes.

An apparatus is provided for supporting a child car seat on a vehicle seat having a seat belt. The apparatus includes a seat foundation that is adapted to lie upon the vehicle seat. The seat foundation includes a base with an upper surface that is adapted to receive the child car seat thereon, side walls that extend away from the upper surface, and a seat-belt mounting catch, which is positioned to lie in the upper surface in a location between the side walls. In addition, the seat foundation includes an auxiliary belt coupled to the base. The auxiliary belt is adapted to cooperate with the base to couple the child car seat upon the seat foundation.

A doorway exerciser is provided for exercising a child positioned therein. The doorway exerciser includes a mounting assembly, a lower hanger, a shock cord, and a seat unit. The mounting assembly is adapted for removable attachment with a doorway framework and is formed to include a passageway therein. The lower hanger is formed to include a passageway therein. The shock cord has opposite ends and an extensible center portion extending between the opposite ends. One end of the cord extends in the passageway of the mounting assembly. An opposite second end of each cord extends in the passageway of the lower hanger so that the lower hanger is suspended from the mounting assembly. The seat unit is suspended from the lower hanger. The mounting assembly has a first clamp member including a catch and a core and an opposing second clamp member which includes a catch and a core. The cores of the first and second clamp members are coupled together for pivotable movement therebetween. The cores of the first and second clamp members are each formed to include a slot therethrough and the cores are positioned relative to one another such that the slots at least partially overlap one another. The mounting assembly further includes a clamp pin extending through the slots.

Toddler exerciser

A stationary baby jumper apparatus is provided. The jumper apparatus includes a support frame having a U-shaped base leg with upstanding ends. A cantilevered seat-support leg is mounted upon the upstanding ends of the U-shaped base leg. A chair seat is suspended from the seat-support leg. Connectors are provided and are positioned in spaced-apart relation to one another about the cantilevered seat-support leg. The chair seat is suspended from the seat-support leg by shock cords that extend between the chair seat and the connectors. Each shock cord includes a first end coupled to a respective connector, a second end coupled to the frame of the chair seat, and an extensible center portion extending between the first and second ends.

A car seat is provided for restraining a child seated in the car seat. The car seat includes a seat shell having a bottom seat portion and a back support portion. A barrier shield is supported above the bottom seat portion and is pivotable from an initial position to a child-restraining position. A child-restraining harness is attached to the seat shell and extends over an upper torso of the child when the child is seated in the car seat to restrain forward motion of the child. The child-restraining harness is connected to the barrier shield. The barrier shield is located at the initial position when a child is harnessed in the child seat. The child-restraining harness moves the barrier shield from the initial position to a child-restraining position when the upper torso of the child harnessed into the child seat moves forward to push against the child-restraining harness.
