A thermostat includes a user interface, a memory, and a processor. The memory is configured to store a profile listing including a plurality of preset profiles. Each of the plurality of preset profiles is associated with a respective temperature regulation unit. The processor is configured to perform a profile selection process when the thermostat is powered on for a first time. To perform the profile selection process, the processor is configured to display a profile selection graphical user interface in response to powering on for the first time where the profile selection graphical user interface facilitates selecting a respective profile from the plurality of preset profiles based on a temperature regulation unit connected to the thermostat, receive a selection of the respective profile based on an input provided to the user interface, and configure the thermostat according to the respective profile to facilitate controlling the temperature regulation unit connected thereto.

A trim plate for a wall mounting assembly is shown. The trim plate includes a body defined by a first end and a second end opposite the first end, the first end defining a front section and the second end defining a rear section, the body defining a passageway extending from the rear section, through the body, to the front section. The body includes a plurality of mounting holes formed through the body and spaced apart from one another around the passageway. The body further includes a positioning feature formed outward from the passageway and spaced apart from the mounting holes. The positioning feature is defined by rearwardly extending walls partially surrounding an aperture formed through the front section of the body, the rearwardly extending walls defining a pocket formed therebetween, the pocket extending along the rear section beyond the aperture.

The segment display includes a first character comprising at least seven segments, a second character comprising at least nine segments proximate to the first character, and a connecting character comprising at least two segments located between the first and second character. The control device further includes a processing circuit that, in a first operation, illuminates at least one segment of each of the first character, the second character, and the connecting character to form a first letter and, in a second operation, illuminates at least one segment of each of the first character, the second character, and the connecting character to form a second letter.

The method includes receiving environmental data of the HVAC system via a cloud network and generating an application based on the received environmental data of the HVAC system. The method further includes providing the application to a user interface via the cloud network. The application receives control instructions via the user interface and provides control signals to a plurality of HVAC equipment in the building to satisfy the control instructions.

A control device for a building, the control device includes a single user interface configured to receive a first signal from a first user input and a second signal from a second user input. The control device further includes a processing circuit configured to receive both the first signal and the second signal within a predetermined period of time. The processing circuit is further configured to perform a first action based on the first signal when the first signal is received before the second signal and not perform a second action in response to the second signal and perform the second action based on the second signal when the second signal is received before the first signal and not perform the first action in response to the first signal.
