The directable exhaust for a wake surfing power boat permits directing exhaust out of either the port or starboard side of a boat opposite the wake wave on which a wake surfer is surfing to avoid exposure of the person to the exhaust fumes. Valves which direct the exhaust out of the side of the boat are linked such that the exhaust can be directed out of either the port or starboard side of the boat away from the wake surfer by a single control available to the boat operator.

An arrowhead apparatus includes an elongate rigid cylindrical body formed with an arrow tip receiving bore directed through a forward end of the body, with the arrowhead body including a slot contained within the body, with the slot including a slot axle spaced from a forward end of the slot and wherein the axle pivotally mounts a plurality of blade members, wherein each blade member includes an abutment leg that is in abutment with a threaded boss of the arrow tip projecting into the slot in a first position, wherein the arrow boss is threadedly displaced from the slot in a second position permitting interfolding of the blades in an adjacency configuration relative to the body to permit ease of removal of the arrowhead relative to a game fish.

A steering system for a high performance powerboat includes a secondary rudder which is located along the hull of the boat forward to the main aft rudder. An actuator is attached to the main rudder of the boat to effect rotation of the rudder about its axis of rotation for steering purposes. A second actuator operative with the actuator of the main rudder effects rotation of the secondary ruddercounter to the rotation of the main rudder.

Steering system for high performance powerboats

A timing system for providing consistent tow times in waterskiing competition by determining the position of the tow vehicle on the course relative a reference time and method of use are disclosed. The timing system includes timing means for indicating intermediate elapsed reference times that a tow vehicle would have if it was completing the course within the required time and speed tolerences, acutating means, electrically connected to the timer, for synchronizing the start of the timer with the entry of the vehicle on the course, and a communicator, electrically connected to the timer, to provides cues to the operator for comparison with the tow vehicle's actual position on the course. Methods for determining the position of the tow vehicle are also disclosed.

Competition waterskier timing system

A portable tree stand having an elongated tubular sectioned ladder. Each section of the ladder is pivotably attached to the adjacent section. The bottom ladder section is attached to a ground brace and the top ladder section to a platform. Movable cylindrical sleeves prevent movement of the ladder sections in the erected mode.

There is disclosed a ski boot and glove warmer including a vertically extending blower body having a pair of spaced apart dryer tubes projecting horizontally from the front face thereof and each having a boot support bail spaced there below for supporting the back of a boot with the tubes projecting into the ankle portion thereof to direct hot air into the foot area of the boot. A pair of guides are positioned on opposite sides of the respective tubes for retaining the boots with the toes thereof directed upwardly from the support. An electric blower directs air over a heating element and into the tubes and is controlled by a coin actuated mechanism to operate for a predetermined period of time after insertion of a coin.
