An apparatus having an outer wall that encompasses an interior chamber that holds a predetermined volume of fluid and gas where the gas rises to one end of the interior chamber and the fluid flows to the other end of the interior chamber. The apparatus also has an inlet port that allows for fluid to ingress into the interior chamber and an outlet port that allows for fluid to egress out of the interior chamber.

Gas removal apparatus

An air removal device for an intravenous fluid system includes a housing with an inlet for fluid communication with a fluid source, a fluid outlet for fluid communication with a blood vessel of a patient, and an air outlet. The air removal device further includes a disrupting element disposed within the housing in a flow path between the inlet and the fluid outlet, and an air chamber in fluid communication with the air outlet. The disrupting element includes a protrusion extending across the flow path. The flow path includes a first cross-sectional flow area at the inlet, and a second cross-sectional flow area at the protrusion. The second cross-sectional flow area is smaller than the first cross-sectional flow area.

Gas removal systems and methods

A telescope remote display and control system for viewing objects through a telescope and controlling the telescope remotely includes a wearable display, a manual controller, a camera, an mechanical adjuster, and an integration system, all of which are electrically interconnected. In the preferred embodiment, the camera, mechanical adjuster, and integration system are all attached to a target telescope and tripod assembly, while the wearable display and manual controller are positioned remotely. The integration system operates as the control hub, allowing a user to view images from the telescope with the wearable display by way of signals from the camera and control the positioning of the telescope with the manual controller through manipulation of the mechanical adjuster.

Air removal device

Methods for processing glass using select wavelength radiation in a convective environment, broadly referred to as 'Local Temporary Annealing', 'LASER Edge Strengthening' and &#x201c;LASER Enhanced Thermal Strengthening.&#x201d; Local Temporary Annealing allows strengthened glass to be brought to a neutral stress state so daughter units can be cut from strengthened glass and other processes usually only performed on annealed glass. LASER Edge Strengthening allows surface compression to be thermally imparted to the edges of a whole sheet or daughter units cut from annealed glass, or modification of residual edge stress profiles in strengthened glass to produce stable, strengthened edges. LASER Enhanced Thermal Strengthening allows surface compression to be imparted to a sheet of annealed glass whilst maintaining reduced surface temperatures so the glass has superior geometric stability and surface compression can be imparted at levels not conventionally possible.
