This invention comprises a synthetic surfactant composition which provides ultra skin mildness, and excellent lather. This invention is based on an ultra mild surfactant composition comprising: C.sub.8 alkyl glyceryl ether sulfonate C.sub.8 (AGS). The C.sub.8 AGS offers a remarkable combination of desirable properties for mild cleansing formulations.

This invention is an improved mild personal cleansing syndet bar comprising: long chain synthetic surfactant having essentially saturated C.sub.15 -C.sub.22, preferably C.sub.16 -C.sub.18, alkyl or acyl chains, more preferably cetearyl sulfate; a high lathering, mild synthetic surfactant, preferably C.sub.12 -C.sub.14 acyl isethionate; soap; fatty acids; sodium isethionate; paraffin wax, preferably a high melting point paraffin wax, and optionally, but preferably, cationic polymer. Disclosed are antiperspirant gel stick compositions substantially free of unbound water comprising from about 5 to about 50% of a solubilized antiperspirant active, from about 7% to about 35% of intermediate polarity emollients, from about 1% to about 5% of a benzylidene sorbitol, from about 15% to about 75% of a polar solvent, from about 1% to about 20% of a coupling agent and from about 0.5% to about 10% of a bufferieng agent. These antiperspirant gel sticks provide very stable antiperspirant compositions with good efficacy as well as excellent cosmetic anesthetics which are further characterized by their ease of manufacture. Also disclosed is a method for the manufacture of these gel sticks as well as a method for treating or preventing perspiraton and malodor associated with human underarm perspiration.

A support for a flexible trash receptacle comprising an upper ring, a plurality of support legs secured in spaced relation at their lower ends and secured at their upper ends to said upper ring for supporting said upper ring, a removable lid assembly comprising a lid member and first and second hinge members, a flexible trash receptacle having an open top positioned within the support and having its open top extending upwardly thorugh the upper ring and turned downwardly around the outside of the upper ring, the lid assembly and the flexible trash receptacle being secured to the upper ring by a resilient band encircling the upper ring and connected to the first hinge member, and the lid member being secured to the second hinge member in position such as to cover the upper ring and the open top of the flexible trash receptacle when in the closed position.
