An adjustable neck brace worn at a human neck for fixing a cervical vertebra includes a cover panel and an adjusting device fixed onto a surface of the cover panel, and the adjusting device includes an adjusting rod, a limit member and an adjusting knob disposed on a surface corresponding to the adjusting rod, and an end of the limit member includes a bracket, and the adjusting knob links an adjusting gear installed at the adjusting rod, and an end of the adjusting rod includes a height adjusting plate having a supporting portion for supporting a chin. With the foregoing technical measures, the invention features a secured and stable structure to maximize the effects of medical treatment and physical therapy. The height of the supporting portion can be adjusted to provide users a feedback about a definite feel of the adjustment through the bracket.

Adjustable neck brace

A first frame of an eyeglass device includes a bridge with a magnetic member, and two retaining mechanisms for supporting a pair of lenses. The retaining mechanisms defines a frontal plane. The bridge ties the two-retaining mechanism together, with the magnetic member magnetically coupling to another magnetic member at the bridge of a second frame. In one embodiment the coupling occurs at a coupling surface on the second frame that is substantially perpendicular to the frontal plane. The magnetic member at the bridge of the first frame can be a permanent magnet or a magnetizable member. The second frame can be a primary frame, and the first frame can be an auxiliary frame.

Eye-wear with magnets

A first frame of an eyeglass device includes a bridge with a magnetic member, and two retaining mechanisms for supporting a pair of lenses. The retaining mechanisms defines a frontal plane. The bridge ties the two retaining mechanism together, with the magnetic member magnetically coupling to another magnetic member at the bridge of a second frame. In one embodiment the coupling occurs at a coupling surface on the second frame that is substantially perpendicular to the frontal plane. The magnetic member at the bridge of the first frame can be a permanent magnet or a magnetizable member. The second frame can be a primary frame, and the first frame can be an auxiliary frame.

Eyeglass frames with magnets at bridges for attachment

An eyeglass device includes a primary and an auxiliary spectacle frames for supporting lenses. The primary spectacle frame includes a magnetic connector member secured in the middle bridge portion. The auxiliary spectacle frame includes a middle bridge portion having a projection for engaging over the middle bridge portion of the primary spectacle frame and having a magnetic connector member for engaging with the connector member of the primary spectacle frame such that the spectacle frames can be easily secured together with only one hand.

Auxiliary lenses for eyeglasses

A spectacle frame includes two extensions extended from the side portions and each having a magnetic member. A pair of legs are pivotally coupled to the extensions and each has another magnetic member secured in one end for engaging with the magnetic members of the frame so as to rotate the legs to a position parallel to the extensions and perpendicular to the frame by an attraction force between the magnetic members. The legs will not apply a spring force but may apply a gentle force against the users such that the users may feel more comfortable when wearing the spectacle frame.

Spectacle frame having magnetic coupling

A spectacle frame includes two extensions extended from the side portions and each having a pivot shaft and a channel. A pair of legs each has one end engaged through the channels and secured to the pivot shaft so as to allow the legs to be rotated about the pivot shafts. The legs each has a slide slidably engaged on the end end and each has a spring for biasing the slides to engage with the extensions. The springs may be easily engaged on the legs. No holes or cavities are required to be formed in the legs such that the strength of the legs will not be decreased.

Spectacle frame having resilient legs

A spectacle frame includes two side portions each having an extension. The extensions each includes two gears rotatably secured in the end portions and engaged with each other. Two legs each has end secured to the outer gears of the extensions as to allow the legs to be rotated in concert with the outer gears. The extensions each includes a curved notch formed in the free end and the legs each includes a projection slidably engaged with the curved notches for limiting the rotational movement of the legs.

Spectacle frame having gear coupling

An eyeglass device includes a primary and an auxiliary spectacle frames for supporting lenses. The primary spectacle frame includes two legs pivotally coupled to two side extensions and includes two magnetic members secured in the rear and side portions. The auxiliary spectacle frame includes two legs engaged on the primary spectacle frame and each having a magnetic member for engaging with the magnetic members of the primary spectacle frame so as to secure the spectacle frames together and so as to prevent the auxiliary spectacle frame from moving downward relative to the primary spectacle frame.
