Various embodiments relate to mobile units. A mobile unit may include a number of electronic devices including a processor, a number of loads, and a modem. The mobile unit may further include a circuit board including the processor and logic configured to reset the processor, at least one load of the number of loads, and/or the modem responsive to receipt of a reset signal. The circuit board may also include a power switch-over circuit coupled to the processor and the logic and configured to switch power to at least some of the number of electronic devices from a primary battery to a secondary battery or from the secondary battery to the primary battery. Further, the circuit board may include a charge controller coupled to the secondary battery and configured to limit an amount of current conveyed to the secondary battery. Associated devices and methods are also disclosed.

Controllers, and associated circuitry, devices, systems, mobile units, and methods

Various embodiments relate to power reset. A system may include a power source and a load configured to couple to the power source. The system may also include a modem configured to receive a first signal from a remote device and generate a second signal responsive to receipt of the first signal. Further, the system may include circuitry. The circuitry may be configured to responsive to the second signal, disconnect the load from the power source for a time duration. The circuitry may further be configured to reconnect the load to the power source after the time duration. Associated methods and mobile units are also disclosed.

Power reset, and associated circuitry, devices, systems, mobile units, and methods

Various embodiments relate to protection circuits. A protection circuit may include a first node for coupling to a first battery and a second node for coupling to a second battery. The protection circuit may also include a first path coupled between the second node and the first node and including a diode. The protection circuit may also include a second path coupled between the first node and the second node. The second path may include a first stage coupled to the first node and including a first number of thermistors coupled in parallel. The second path may also include a second stage coupled between the first stage and the second node and including a second number of thermistors coupled in parallel, wherein the first stage may be coupled in series with the second stage. Associated methods, systems, and devices are also disclosed.

Overcurrent protection, and associated circuitry, devices, systems, and methods

Various embodiments relate to power reset. A system may include a first power source, a second power source, and a load coupled to the first power source and the second power source. The system may also include a modem configured to generate a signal responsive to receipt of a control signal. Further, the system may include circuitry coupled to the modem and configured to, responsive to receipt of the signal, open a first switch to disconnect the load from the first power source and open a second switch to disconnect the load from the second power source. Associated methods and mobile units are also disclosed.

Methods for signal processing employ instantaneous frequency analysis through quadrature genometric measurement of streaming signal data. Such methods may include the analysis of any composite analog periodic signal, including but not limited to audio, video, radio, seismic, light, radar, sonar, EKG, where signal data is streaming, stationary or non-stationary, and represents either linear or non-linear processes.
