The vaporizer includes a housing, a battery compartment configured to hold a battery in the housing, an electronic control and power unit provided in the housing, and a cover movable between an open position exposing a compound chamber within the housing and a closed position connected to the housing and closing a portion of the compound chamber. The compound chamber is configured to hold at least the portion of the botanical stick having the contacts. Contacts are provided in the compound chamber and are configured to create an electrical connection between the electronic control and power unit and contacts on the botanical stick when the botanical stick has been inserted into the compound chamber.

The invention relates to the film products and methods of their preparation that demonstrate a non-self-aggregating uniform heterogeneity. Desirably, the films disintegrate in water and may be formed by a controlled drying process, or other process that maintains the required uniformity of the film.
