A highly dilatant copolymer dispersion containing, as essential components, an emulsion copolymer prepared from 1 to 10% by weight, based on the sum of the monomers employed, of .alpha.,.beta.-monoolefinically unsaturated carboxylic acids and other olefinically unsaturated monomers, in which the emulsion copolymer is prepared in the presence of from 5 to 30% by weight, based on the sum of the monomers employed, of allyl carboxylate or alkylallyl carboxylate containing 2 or more copolymerizable olefinic double bonds, or a mixture thereof, the alkyl radical containing 1 to 4 C atoms, and the preparation thereof.

Highly dilatant copolymer dispersion having high continuous-load

In the case of a shearing element that can be used as an engine mounting in a motor vehicle, an elastic damping body that is developed in the way of a rubber--metal mounting and a shearing unit are provided in a mechanical parallel connection for supporting the engine at the body. It is their purpose to avoid, in the natural-vibration range of the mounting--mass system, an excessive increase of the amplitudes in the case of a resonance.

An apparatus for the preparation of bonding fibers, especially for the production of nonwovens by a wet-lay process, wherein a polymer dispersion, containing an anionic or nonionic dispersant, and an aqueous solution, containing a dissolved cationic precipitant, are combined to cause fiber formation from precipitated polymer particles, which apparatus includes a feed funnel spaced above the bottom of a homogenization vessel with both a nozzle for introducing the polymer dispersion and a metering device for the precipitant, which are so arranged and aimed into the funnel that in co-operation with a stirrer a vortex is produced in a column of liquid in the feed funnel, and fibers are formed and broken up while passing through a turbulence chamber, located at the bottom of the funnel, and a gap into a homogenization chamber.

It comprises a distributor chamber which is connected to a respiratory air preparation unit and has several openings, animal tubes connected to the openings and suction devices, connected to a disposal system, for removing the waste air. Each transition piece between the head and trunk of the animal tubes has holes connecting the animal tubes inserted into the apparatus to the suction devices.
