A calibration weightfor a gravimetric measuring instrument includes a calibration weight base modulewhich is equipped with at least one attachment area. The calibration weightfurther has at least one positioning meansand at least one transfer element. The attachment areaallows supplemental weightsto be built onto the calibration weight base module; the positioning meansserves to position the calibration weightin relation to the calibration weight arm; and the transfer elementserves as the place through which the transfer mechanism leverapplies its force and effects a transfer.
