The present application relates to a method for providing a corrected measuring signal indicating a high voltage on a high-voltage node (HV), including: injecting a periodic injection signal into a voltage divider coupled between the high-voltage node (HV) and a reference potential; obtaining a sensing signal at a sensing node (S) of the voltage divider, wherein the sensing signal depends on the periodic injection signal; from the sensing signal, separating a first sensing signal portion resulting from the high voltage and a second sensing signal portion resulting from the periodic injection signal; and depending on the second sensing signal portion, correcting the first sensing signal portion corresponding to the high-voltage signal in order to obtain the corrected measuring signal.

An arrangement for reading out an analog voltage signal includes a voltage signal input for applying the analog voltage signal thereto, a reference unit configured to generate an analog reference voltage, and a converting unit configured to convert an analog input signal into a digital output signal. To enable online self-calibration of the arrangement, the arrangement includes a superposition unit configured to receive the analog voltage signal and the analog reference voltage. The superposition unit includes a modulation unit configured to generate a modulated reference voltage from the analog reference voltage. The superposition unit is configured to generate a combined analog signal by superimposing the modulated reference voltage onto the analog voltage signal, and to forward the combined analog signal to the converting unit.

Arrangement for reading out an analog voltage signal

A system and method are provided for monitoring in real time the operating state of an IGBT device, to determine a junction temperature and/or the remaining lifetime of an IGBT device. The system includes a differential unit configured to receive a gate-emitter voltage characteristic of the IGBT device to be measured and to differentiate the gate-emitter voltage characteristic to obtain pulses correlating with edges formed by a Miller plateau phase during a switch-off phase of the IGBT device. The system also includes a timer unit configured to measure the time delay between the obtained pulses indicating the start and end of the Miller plateau phase during the switch-off phase of the IGBT device, and a junction temperature calculation unit configured to determine at least one of the junction temperature of the IGBT device and/or the remaining lifetime of the IGBT device based on the measured time delay.

System and method for monitoring in real time the operating state of an IGBT device

A protective circuit arrangement is disclosed for electrical equipment supplied, for example, from a conductor loop in surroundings subject to explosion hazards in process engineering installations. To suppress current flow from an energy store of the electrical equipment into the conductor loop, an exemplary cascadeable switchgear cell is disclosed, having a first transistor, which allows the loop current to pass, and a second transistor, which short-circuits a parasitic base-emitter diode of the first transistor.

Protective circuit arrangement

An apparatus for the detection of a current in a protection and metering current range comprises one current sensor, which generates a voltage signal, and a voltage-limited electronic element. For metering voltage signals exceeding the upper metering voltage limit of the electronic element or for protection voltage signals exceeding the upper protection voltage limit of the electronic element an attenuation element with an attenuation factor being larger than unity is electrically connected to the current sensor. The attenuation factor is chosen in such a way that the metering voltage signal divided by the attenuation factor is smaller than or equal to the upper electronic element metering voltage limit or the protection voltage signal divided by the attenuation factor is smaller than or equal to the upper electronic element protection voltage limit.
